You do realize the original game exists and there are countless HD remakes over the years with turn based combat. Turn based combat is a mechanic of hardware limitation. It would be like if the new Resident evil games left the door load screens and tank controls in for there remakes...smh

How are you being forced to pay twice. The ps4 game will run on ps5 the game itself is not changing. I am sure there will be enhancements graphically on next gen but who knows if the ps5 wont support those with a patch or natively in the system. This is MS throwing money for PR

Console war is a media creation for clicks and views. The fact that Sony isnt doing E3 and Xbox is releasing games on PC shows it is about money and software sales not hardware
Turn based was a product of the times. It is like saying this on movie lets watch this VHS of this movie I love when you have a bluray. The movie is the same but the quality is enhanced. Some games still pull off turn based like Persona and DSII but Final Fantasy has moved on from that.
