Modern Warfare 2 was sold by the super markets from launch at £26. Is that struggling at retail too?

Whereas Valve would need to make an investment to begin PS3 development, the retailer just needs to say yes - at absolutely no cost or risk.

Valve would rather invest in getting Steam out there such as the latest Alienware deal.

The retailers are only boycotting Steam games, because they feel they can't compete otherwise. Like as soon as one customer goes Steam, they're never going to go back.

It's obviously true.

Are in St. Petersburg.

The nearest point of interest seems to be the Stroganov Palace and the Beloselsky-Belozersky Palace.

The marker could possibly be directly opposite the two.

"However I disagree that the USA AIR FORCE is just trying to save some bucks. LOL. This is a powerful organization which happen to have HUGE budgets for this kind of stuff."

I mentioned the price/performance ratio of the PS3, price/performance is two words - they're worried about both.

The USAF might have big budgets, but they're getting squeezed and they're getting slashed. The cancellation of the Raptors shows you that.

You mentioned that th...

Raztad:
"For PC fans and the lame Thesithaxis site: Why the USA Air Force is gonna use 2200 PS3 instead of 2200 Intel most advanced processors?"

It's because the PS3 is sold at a loss. Whereas Intel chips and their associated equipment are sold at a profit.

The price/performance ratio is going to look better on the PS3.

Surprise surprise, this worthless cancer has come up with more tall tales, without any sources.

DJ Hero 2? Total guess.

Constant free weekends? Total guess, but clearly misguided, in the mind of a guy who has absolutely no understanding of Microsoft's business. Every weekend is a free weekend? "Possibly in motion"? You idiot.

Bungie? It's not even a guess, it's a clear lie cynically generated to spawn misdirected hits.

Chrome is the most memory hungry browser out there right now.

Here is the official Chrome blog explaining why - http://blog.chromium.org/20...

If Sony do want a better browser, I hope they do go for Firefox though. The more corporate funding Mozilla can get, the better it is for everyone.

I have no idea about this website, but to suggest that it's bogus because it covers bad news is the most moronic statement. I'm sorry the world doesn't live up to your whitewashed eyes, maybe you should stick to Fox News - they say the same thing over and over again.

Even so, this story comes from Heise, which is pretty much the most respected German language tech news source.

And without any backup whatsoever, you insert some bullshit FUD regarding IBM's financial ...

Being used in a supercomputer is no mark of success either - accelerator cards such from ClearSpeed have been incorporated into supercomputers too - and they are by far a success.

I believe that the Cell has been a failure, those who don't, obviously have far more modest goals.

The Cell wanted to become the number one media chip out there. It wanted to be in every home entertainment device. It wanted to be an accelerator card inside normal specced machines. It did...

I still can't believe this thread is full of detractors claiming that Firefox is memory hungry. Maybe in 2006.

Firefox 3.5 has some of the lowest memory footprints of any browser, it beats the crap out of Chrome each time. Chrome obviously has the worse memory performance, because it opens up a new browser instance with every tab.

But like always, N4G is full of ignorant idiots, who post without doing even the most basic of research. This is why we get so many fan...

Oh, well done with the ad-hominems again. Maybe in your world, it's OK to be swiftboated, I'd just prefer to defend myself - like you've just attempted to do.

Regardless of your own thoughts on who I am or aren't, it's good that you agree with me that this greenlighted article is by an absolute no-one with a blogger account.

It's just that I am vehemently against this type of sh*t being given an audience by N4G, yet you think it's quality? But then again, given the...

Why does that matter? Who the hell are gamethirstarticles?

Yet they've managed a flamebait frontpage greenlight, whilst operating from blogspot. That's the issue.

For someone named DaTruth, you certainly don't really give a damn about the truth do you. Next time you make a comment, make it relevant, "who are you?"

Jesus.

"A lot of people make the excuse that this is sport – that it’s just entertainment. But Joseph Goebbels – the propaganda minister of Nazi Germany – said his entertainment did more for the German people, in terms of creating the psyche for war and hostility towards others, than the speeches of Adolf Hitler."

Why aren't imbeciles like Fazan Mohammed attacked for such ridiculous statements such as this. You know what else Goebbels said, that "Hitler was a cool guy&qu...

I mentioned this during the first time it came up, but apparently, we're greenlighting bullshit blogspot bloggers now, a sh*twipe know nothing who can't even afford his own domain name, let alone research.

VAC doesn't disable you from cheating.

It just tags your Steam profile as a "cheater" and then kicks you off all online play.

You'll then need to create a new profile and buy the game again in order to play online.

It discourages cheaters, but doesn't make it impossible to cheat. Another thing VAC does, is delayed bans. So it doesn't kick you off straight away for cheating, but maybe days later - so you can't be sure exactly which cheat got c...
