Well...this doesn't change the fact that 360 will end this generation in third place. That's why people call this article as a damage control.
I guess it would be called damage control in 2009 to say "Sony No Longer Has To Fear Microsoft’s Xbox Console", because PS3 was definite third place at that time. Oh...Maybe I don't remember but people actually did that back in 2009.

GT5 is still shifting the most money from UK game players. Only reason why GT5 is 6th in that chart is because they have no option if they don't have PS3...pity...
It didn't really work well enough. You have to consider what you could buy in 2006 with 600 bucks.

AND RSX is just a customized GPU but Cell is not. You can't directly compare the processing power of PS3 with PC. But you can see the graphical results and PS3 has never been upgraded. So what does this mean? Any games that come out for PS3 until now and from now on should be compared with the PC from 200...

The reason why you can't see such a car in F1 is because there are some illegal systems that can't be used in F1 in X1 car, especially on down-force system.
X1 just shows how fast one can drive through a course if there is no limit.
I see there is no shock absorption on the ground (or no dent on the car) so that the car is rolling little more than real life, but physics is just fine.
If you really want a real physics, play with Super Computer or something.
1. There has been no game compiled with 3.50 dev kit (GT5 may be the first?). All the other games that ask you to update your PS3 3.42 or 3.50 are just using simple code, not compile with new dev kit.
2. Why the hell do hackers want to downgrade PS3 if they can play 3.50 FW games anyway? Ironically, these downgraders just confess they can't play the game with 3.50 FW.

You should be careful not to confuse AR and VR.
Because MLAA looks promising in GOW AA, not in Saboteur. Result talks everything, not the idea. 60fps with AA somewhere between 2x to 4x without tearing is overwhelming for current gaming consoles.
And GOW AA purely uses SPU and doesn't use any power from GPU. That says, if next console comes out with SPU-integrated CPU, they still can save GPU for something else.
Plus, if developers chooses to use deferred rendering, they can fix some issues come up ...
