Wada from Enix is a pure businessman, who doesn't care much about quality of the game. I know it from Dragon Quest series which have never challenged the technology.
If Wada was as much generous in development time as Sony does to Polyphony Digital, I wouldn't really have to worry about the quality of FF series at this point, including a bunch of FF spin-off craps (except few really good spin-offs)
