yes.it does make sense,that they probably used the extra ram to up the mp to 60fps and probably added more visual goodness to the sp while keeping it at 30fps.
regarding the weight of weapons-i think i read from some hands on articles that its not as weighted as kz2.im not completely sure,maybe they can do a comparison post release.
i hope weight is attributed accordingly to the size of the weapon , recoil is fair and just and rewarding if tamed:), and that jetpacks ...

i remember while playing crysis 2(courtesy ps+),while selecting perks the in game video showcasing what they were seemed to be buttery smooth!!
there probably is a huge difference if the same game can be shown side by side or like u mentioned ,on the pc.

titan fall looks to be a great game as does killzone shadowfall.
there's no need to hate on another game just because it doesnt suit your preferences.
gamers are a diverse crowd,people may like cod,bf ,kz etc .
i've played games from all three mentioned series and i find that each have their strengths.
