I didn't spend much time playing MK3 because we waited until Ultimate MK3. The problems of the roster were definitely fixed by then. In fact, before this article mentioned it, I completely forgot Scorpion was missing from the MK3 roster but being on the UMK3 one.
Is this for the PS2?
Nobody tell the Angry Video Game Nerd
One thing that held me back in this game is that I had no friends that wanted to play. I always wanted to do raids but could never get one off the ground.
This is like someone who just ate an 8-course meal saying "I'm shifting focus away from food"
There was more gambling in that trailer than actual basketball.
wtf.
You're literally the reason why legitimate outrage over this issue will fall by the wayside. Quinn can now easily throw away all the other level-headed arguments against her and use your idiot post as a soundbite. Congratulations, you've set us all back now.
The cartoon art style doesn't mesh with the old games. It would be fine as a completely separate series, but like the Battletoads game it's missing a part of what made the old games visually cool.
Also...How the hell does Axel fight so well with a shirt tied around his waist? As a kid, if I tried to run with one of those on it would instantly fall off, but this guy's Bear Knuckle-ing with ease.
Pffft, "Terrifying?"
If it bleeds, he can kill it
first party? yes
bought and paid for third party? probably not. that's caused some of the worst controversies this generation. It's basically Epic Store's entire business model
These actually look nice. I'd prefer this over clipping the screen above a controller
They'd make a phone before they made a dedicated handheld.
And they tried phones already before calling it quits. They shelved plans for the Surface Phone last year because dev support for apps won't be there. Android and Apple have a stranglehold on the market.
If they return to that form factor with Surface Phone's alleged dual-screen setup, they'd have such a huge uphill climb. I'd be interested in it from a windows phone perspect...
I'd feel more at ease with a statement like that if it didn't come from Activision. Remakes have been cool, but I'd be happier if they sold the rights to a more consumer-friendly company.
As far as sales go, no, there won't be anything to top MK in sales. Personally, I think games in the same genre like Transformed, CTR and Diddy Kong all showed that making a good kart racing game on par or better than Mario Kart is possible. I had way more fun on Transformed than on MK, but they haven't made a sequel in so long. The result is I've invested way more time into MK than Transformed.
The vids from Team Sonic Racing look promising, so here's hopi...
I have the same complaint about Nintendo. Games that are several years old are still sold at full price. As a gamer who likes to wait for sales on PS4/XB1 that's probably the biggest downside about buying a Nintendo console.
I picked mine up last week to play Dragon Ball FighterZ on my commute. It's been pretty nice. I play on my PS4 at home and keep the Switch in my bag. All my friends are still on PS4 so that's where my online money goes. I'll probably do the same when Team Sonic Racing comes out. The Switch gives me a chance to practice a bit more on any given day.
Aw, man...
I haven't trusted Gearbox since Aliens: Colonial Marines. Remember all the bs this guy was shoveling at that time?
I'm not gonna bitch and moan, I just won't buy your games.
Does he get paid to state the obvious like this? Maybe I should do his job.
Or better yet, be a gaming journalist that makes money off that guy's table scraps.
This doesn't look like a real consumer release. They'd invert the colours. So, where it's currently white on the controller they'll make it black, and most likely swap the black strips with white as well. That would make sense on top of hust making the whole thing black from top to bottom.
