I think the benefit this bad boy gives the developer is the fact that now the software that runs on it doesnt eat up the memory that can be used on a game. Like if u have 512 mb memory and are running the dev software... your eating up some of that memory... where as now with this thing... u dont have to touch that memory and tailor it to use that 512 on the game itself... basically allows them to use more memory... im not expecting a huge boost personally.

I dont see it as a lesser form of gaming. I own ps3 and 360, and i prefer to play games like metal gear devil may cry , and splintercell on my console. But pc gaming is way further advanced, espeacially when it comes to modding and custom content. Look at halflife and halflife2... the number of mods.. created by people like u and me, that are like completely different games... new art new gameplay... and free!! Thats where pc gaming stomps on consoles... not to mention the graphics... And in ...

I gotta say, i prefer my 360 over my ps3. BUT! if developers can make games that take advantage of physx ... holy crap!... i can careless about that cell and all that other junk, but being able to run cuda on a console and utilize physx that would make for some incredable inovations. 360 may be doing more graphically powerful things, but i can care less about graphics since either way the graphics are close.
