Not a big deal. If you want b/c out of the box just buy the 60/80gig ps3. if you buy this sku and later want to play ps2 games just get a ps2 for 99$.

I seem to recall that the less compression developers have to use, the better for gamers and developers.
40gb is plenty. plus, hard drives now-a-days are 120USD for 500gb. If you can live without backwards compatibility (most ppl still have their ps2s) than the 40gb ps3 is a steal.

actually, if blu-ray wins its the 360 folks that will be angry because they will have a useless hd-dvd drive. games will not be in hd-dvd format.
if hd-dvd wins, developers will still create games on blu-ray disk.
don't forget singstar on ps3. we know how well that game has been recieved by the public.

You can't just add a mechanic into a fighting game without thinking about each individual character's moveset. Balancing is a major issue in ALL fighting games.
Now I will wait a couple weeks to see if any RROD stories have come up with the new 360's before I buy one. Yeah yeah, i can get a 360 now and get the warrenty extension if it rrod's but i just dont like dealing with customer service and tech support.
