God damn this is so funny. Talk about a backfire.
I hope so, but I don't got my hopes up. They were trying to sell a new service at the beginning.
Now that they are dominating this gen and also that PS Plus is required for online... they have less reason to offer big titles.
I still kind of expected some better by this point. I mean Knack, Killzone and Second Son have all hit $20 at one point or another. I figured we'd see one of them soon. I'd have picked some of them up, but I'm waiting...
A million sales on the PS4 alone. Think of it however you want, numbers don't lie.
Tidux is wrong often. He also never gives any details, mostly vague things that don't really give any information. For example in this case. Both things he said don't really tell us anything.
Then you have to wait for the game of the decade edition.
Xbone is still getting outsold in its own territory overall. So, is that even success?
This is how it is with games for me nowadays as a person with a full time job, wife and kids. I start off doing the side things until I realize I don't have the time to do all of that stuff. I end up sticking to the main story only and then I sell the game and move onto the next.
Gotta hand it to their PR team. No AAA exclusives since MCC (which was a remaster mess) and SSO.
Great time to be an owner my ass.
Tons of issues. Please see other thread. Constant crashes. People with bad ass machines are sometimes getting 20 FPS.
So bugs are okay if it is a good game?
Apparently the article left out the part of how it got in trouble. Vague references to SJW (which is just some bland term for a social justice warrior that I never heard of).
For all the talk he is doing and for the constant praise... yes, I would expect something by now.
How are people talking like he saved Xbox when he hasn't done anything?
At first I fell for some of his stuff as well. What he was saying was drastically different than what MS had done in the past.
But, he is getting tiresome. He has been all talk. They haven't produced anything you can get your hands on.
Because they spend time to create it. If they didn't profit from it, they probably wouldn't make it.
Games cost much, much, much more to make nowadays, but prices are the same. They have to make up for that somehow.
So, your options are pay for crap DLC or pay $70-$80 base price for games.
Popular things get hated on the most.
People will admit they have like hundreds or even a thousand hours into it.... but try to hate on it.
Guy above even tries to put it down saying that they've moved onto Witcher... so you played a game for 8 months and you think it sucks?
So after 3 hours, which only scratched the surface of the content, you knew you'd been had?
So you're complaining that you don't get USELESS stuff for free?
How do headlines like this get approved?
No controller and used?
Man this is the weirdest thing ever.
Okay thanks for tricking me. Read it. It was clickbait.
They lost last NPD by approximately 15k. They still dominated software. They still are dominating worldwide. They are the only system releasing exclusives on a regular basis.
So no, that isn't what I consider taking a beating. The opposite actually.
