Agree, and Tabata is a good director. Crisis Core was a good game (in my opinion) and Type-0 was well received very well. The HD version is shaping up good!
Like you say Nomuras work will still be prevelant in FFXV.
Amazing numbers for Super Smash Bros, but I don't think anybody expected anything less.
Now that Notch has left I've heard inside rumours that he's going to create a new studio and work for Sony. The game will be called Ironycraft.
And hopefully many more JRPG's!
Do Square Enix troll with more FFXV tracks?
They forgot to add "Please be excited" to the list, you can look forward to that from Square Enix. I'm hoping for at least Final Fantasy Type-0 HD to have a decent showing, but with the focus now seemingly on Dragon Quest Heroes who knows. Saying that though Type-0 was said to be at 80% completion so could in theory be an early 2015 game and DQ Heroes a late 2015 game. But yeah, not expecting anything from XV until at least E3 next year.

Yep. Look at God of War II and FFXII on PS2 (FFXII launched after PS3 in the UK) and The Last of and Beyond: Two Souls on PS3. All games quite close to the launch of next gen systems, and all look amazing. The last lot of exclusives to hit PS4 will look INSANE *watches PC crowd roll their eyes*

I also bought the first two and didn't bother with Lightning Returns. XIII was a good game, the story is not as bad as a lot of people make it out to be IMO and I liked the paradigm shift battle system.
What let FFXIII down was the lack of freedom. That was fixed in FFXIII-2, but from the beginning you just KNEW the story was going to be dodgy. "WHERE DID THESE CLOTHES COME FROM?" Paradox this, paradox that. Bleh. Not all the story was bad though and I still enj...
