As much as I'd love XV to be at TGS I doubt it will. My guess is we'll get more info on Final Fantasy Type-0 HD that was revealed earlier in the year. If we don't even get that, well...
"Please be excited..."
The focus so far has been about pleasing the Western audiences. Sales of the PS4 are dwindling in Japan from the recent Media Create sales I've seen, but that's to be expected as there aren't really many games catered for the market. Hopefully Sony are going to go in hard at TGS and give Japanese gamers a reason to pick up a PS4.
I'm also going to play it day one...the first day it releases on PS4. It's still a much anticipated game, and I look forward to eventually playing it. Sure I've got to wait a bit longer to play it, but there's plenty for me to play in the mean time.
And play Snake =p
I'm still on last gen hardware! Next gen starts for me personally in October, let alone talking about next-next gen!
The reality is that PS4 and Xbox One haven't been out for a year and people like yourselves think you can predict the future. Sure PS4 is doing extremely well at the moment and it hands down has the more powerful hardware, but don't write off Microsoft just yet.
Wii U didn't even get Tomb Raider or the definitive edition in the first place. I highly doubt Square Enix will release Rise of the Tomb Raider for it. You never know these days, though.
"SQUARE ENIX ANNOUNCE FFXV IS WII U EXCLSUIVE, PLATFORM "FELT RIGHT"
Looks like Silent Hill could be back to its former glory. Sorry, "Hills".
What's this game about? I've not heard of it before.
It's not strange, it's down to personal opinion. Everyone has one, some people just can't accept it =p
Quantum Break looks amazing, as did Alan Wake. I've never owned a 360 and won't be picking up a One, but if ever I did it would be for them.
Game looks good, but if it's episodic how many will there be and and at what cost?
The difference with FF is that they didn't "alienate" their fan base. They "expanded" it. When FFXIII was announced for the Xbox 360 it didn't effect PS3 owners, in the sense that we got to play it AT THE SAME TIME as 360 owners (delay and cut content content aside).
Rise of the Tomb Raider, however. THAT'S alienating the fan base, even of it is only just timed. It's a kick in the teeth when you've just supported them on the reboot. <...
Tokyo Game Show is next month. Hopefully we'll see plenty of Japanese developed games announced for PS4.
Twice (one bullet from each pistol)
Personally I was looking forward to both. The Tomb Raider reboot was a solid game which I really enjoyed, and I was looking forward to the sequel. It might not be on par with Uncharted but it's definitely not "garbage".
It really doesn't make ANY sense.
Are Square Enix / Crystal Dynamics THAT stupid as to make Rise of the Tomb Raider a real Xbox One exclusive?
I can't see it, personally. We'll see it on PS4 eventually, with all DLC...definitive edition =p
I dread to see UK pricing. Not that I'll be using the service much unless there's a game that I REALLY want to play, but that's unlikely with the amount of new games coming out.
Look forward to my Drive Club bundle arriving on the 10th October! Since the game was delayed I didn't get a PS4 at launch. Now. Is. My. Time! (well not now now, October now xD)
Typo. FF-Type O = FF Type-0 =p
Also I couldn't agree more with this comment! I've been waiting for Type-0 to be localised since it was released in Japan. When I played the PSP demo I thought "can't wait for this". But it never came, until now. From what I played I know the game is good, so in a way I'm more excited for this than XV. Square Enix REALLY are starting to become a joke as far as XV is concerned. I've waited literally a third of my lif...
