I'm spreading the cost, as well. Also £100 paid so far (£85 loaded on to a gift card, and £15 worth of reward points). I find that I keep checking my drawer to make sure that the cards don't go missing xD
I used to love the original Rayman! I remember playing Rayman 2 as well and being pretty disappointed, so nice that its gone back to its 2D roots. I was shocked to see it on the PS Store for almost £50, though :/
I used to love South Park. I rarely watch it now, but I am really intrigued by this game. I look forward to seeing some gameplay.
"The tradeoff, of course, is you can't trade in digital media. Which again points to why Sony may be laying out incentives to go digital."
If the rumours about the 40% discount on digital titles is true then I may start to buy more digital games when the Vita comes out. I mean most of the time trading games in is worthless anyway, as the value decreases so quickly.
Not looking forward to seeing how much the memory cards will cost in the UK. I want a 32GB. I didnt really download games from PSN on my PSP but I think its going to be a different story for the Vita.
Good job I've been saving!
22nd February = WiFi Vita, 32GB memory card and...GRAVITY DAZE / RUSH! I'm really looking forward to this game.
Where did you get that info Fatal? Retailers don't have the prices up yet.
LESS time? That may be true for a reMASTER like FFX HD that was announced. But a full reMAKE of FFVII would take quite a lot of time. Sure the story is done but what about all the character models, areas, monsters, cinematics, voice acting, menus, battle system, summons etc. The time-consuming work is definitely not done.
EDIT: HeavenlySnipes got there just before me! Have a bubble...great minds and all :P
I might pick this up, but I'm not sure if I would get on well with the camera angle.
I care as well. Final Fantasy XIII-2 really does look like it's shaping up to be a good game.
Probably because he was using it over a 3G connection, not wi-fi. 3G can be a bit slow, depending on the location you are at.
3, 2, 1...*sigh*
EDIT: Sorry, I thought you meant the actual game. I didn't read your comment right >.> Sorry for the disagree.
How much was your Crystal ball?
I've pre-ordered already and payed a small deposit, do I miss out? Oh well, it's not like I'm missing out on much.
Kid: "Mum, I'm off out!"
Mum: "Where are you going?"
Kid: "Swinging!"
Mum: O.O
18GB in 5 hours? I wish I had that connection speed, it would probably take me 5 days!
I realise now that the "points" scheme is a joke, really. The points that you save could just be saved in real money by buying stuff cheaper from elsewhere. I have my Vita pre-ordered in store at GAME, and FFXIII-2 pre-ordered online because of the exclusive pre-order bonus. Once my points are used up I will probably start shopping elsewhere. Their new website has also given me nothing but hassle, can't even view pre-orders properly.
I was thinking about getting a big memory card and downloading games but yesterday I purchased Child of Eden digitally on PS3 and my download speed is...beyond ridiculous. I think for that reason I am going to have to stick with retail.
