Definitely won't be giving up my PS3 yet. In fact I'll be buying a new one when the red bundle with the whole GOW saga and a months PS+ releases in Europe.
Sony and Microsoft have a huge opportunity to push the PS3 and 360. Announce next gen, slash current gen prices, and offer GTA V as a bundle before releasing the consoles. Things are going to be interesting.
Maybe we will see the boomerang design that was shown alongside the PS3 when it was first announced? I actually like that design and it looks more "next gen" to me with the curves.

My theory:
Lumina is a younger Serah who was born in an alternate timeline where Lightning was written out of history altogether (not born due to the events in XIII-2, messing up TIME AND SPACE etc). $350? That's £218, not far off the retail price of the PS3. In my opinion Sony should drop the price of the PS3 to around £150 and then sell the new PS4 for between £250 - £300. With the PS3 still going strong it would boost sales even more, while offering those that want it a relatively affordable step to the new console.
That's the joy of Disney, especially the Pixar branch - there really is something for everybody.

I will never move to PC gaming. For me its always been about consoles. I look forward to the PS4 and all that it brings but honestly I don't see it releasing in 2013.

I will play the TombCharted combination on PS3 and enjoy both franchises for what they are.
If they really want to make some money then why don't they release Before Crisis: Final Fantasy VII in the West on iOS and Android, instead of taking the piss out of the FF name with all this social crap. Makes so much more sense. Its the only part of the compilation of FFVII that we haven't got and I'm pretty sure sales would be more than all these social ones combined.
And that will be the reason for the name change. Versus really needs to differentiate itself from XIII so consumers know that they aren't getting more of the same (Lightning). Ignis Philosophy, maybe? :p

Agreed! The PS3 will be a Blu Ray player in the bedroom, whilst PS4 will be the centerpiece of the living room :)
