It's the 7 year anniversary of the Versus announcement this year, the game is never going to live up to everybody's expectations. I'm holding out for it to be 'good' but I'm not expecting to be blown away by it.

Agreed. However I'm still holding out for a new MotorStorm for the pure arcade experience. Even though DriveClub is mixing in both arcade and sim I think it might be a bit too sim for my liking, and from a personal standpoint I just don't find games like GT / Forza fun. I can't judge DriveClub until I've played it though, which is why I'm making this my first software purchase with the PS4.
Really can't wait for E3 just to find out how much this is going to cost! *holds pre-order receipt tightly*

Took the words right out of my mouth. If a game is available on disc and via digital distribution then I will always choose the disc option.

Agreed. There's been 6 games already, and Ascension didn't quite hit the mark for me. I couldn't wait for the game to end (it seemed to drag on and on) and I've never felt like that with any of the other games in the series. I look forward to seeing a new IP.
I haven't played an Assassin's Creed game since the first installment of the game on PS3, back in the day before Trophies even exist on the system. I think it's time to give the series another go, and even better that I don't have series fatigue seeing that I haven't played it for so many years (which I'm glad of because this game is looking really good). Role on PS4 launch.
I don't think a price drop now would make a huge difference because next gen is right around the corner. People, me included, are saving their money for the next big home consoles, not the handheld platforms.

I agree that sometimes the acting was pretty bad. But Heavy Rain was the most unique game that I've played personally, and I loved it from beginning to end...and what an end it was!
I'm really looking forward to Beyond. I just watched about a minute of the film festival gameplay but I turnt it off because I don't want to spoil anything.
Here in the UK they closed quite a few stores. In the city I live there used to be four GAME stores all in one city centre. I think the problem with GAME was is that they had too many stores all close to eachother, so it was probably a wise choice closing some down to save money in the long run.
Got my deposit down with GAME, just waiting for that confirmed date. Is E3 here yet? *waits patiently*. I'll be gutted if it ends up being a 2014 release, but at least I'd still have plenty of games to play on PS3.
