They're not connected, it's just a reference and nothing more. There's a character in FFX-2 called Shinra who spoke about researching a way to use energy from the farplane to help "benefit" Spira, which is just a [pretty big] nod to FFVII, Shin-Ra, Mako and the life stream. But connected? No.
And inFamous is nothing like Uncharted :/

I didn't think Beyond was a disappointment. Personally I thoroughly enjoyed it, although I thought Heavy Rain was better. Look forward to seeing what Quantic Dream cook up on PS4.
I wouldn't say I'm hyped for it. Rather, I'm intrigued. I look forward to seeing where Sony go with this. If there's enough support for it and it has a low enough price point then I'll start getting hyped for it. If not then, well, I can live without.

I'd be fine without multiplayer. I don't buy these types of game for online, I buy them for the single player story. I didn't really play UC2 and 3 much online, only a little to see what it was like. As for TLoU not once have I played it online.
My fingers and toes are crossed for FFXV to be at E3 this year. If it isn't then it best be at TGS!

I played a little bit of it, but it wasn't really for me. Wasn't a fan of the battle system. To be honest I was expecting much more from the game.
I never did play Dark Cloud on PS2 but gameplay videos look fun. I'd definitely give it a shot if a new game was made, or if it ever comes to PS Now when PS2 games are eventually made available.

I'll be picking up The Stick of Truth next month. I'm looking forward to it :) I'm not in to South Park as much as I used to be when I was younger, but I can't pass it up!

I bought 999 a week ago for DS. I paid £17 for it, and I'm enjoying it, and think it's money well spent. To get it for $4.99 is a bargain! And I look forward to playing its follow up, Virtues Last Reward.
I've never played one of these "visual novels" before, but I've become interested in them lately with the likes of Danganronpa and such getting good reviews.

Even though they're not out for months they're still available to pre order. I think it's a wise move on Sony's part because if they advertise early then they'll boost pre order numbers before release.
I was very surprised when I seen Destiny advertised for PS4 the other day on TV. Through most of last gen MS were relentless with 360 advertisements, PS3 ads were very rare in comparison. Now the tides have turned and Sony are advertising games months in advance and I'm ALWAYS seeing PS4 ads, on a variety of channels, more so than for the Xbox One, which I see advertised from time to time, but not much. I haven't even seen Titanfall advertised for the 360 or the One yet?!
So they show a picture of Dirge of Cerberus which is probably the worst Final Fantasy of them all lol
