Some may say that Nintendos's Wiimote batteries have ran out. Luckily Nintendo uses rechargables, they've got a lot of life left in them yet .

If it releases at a high price point with nothing that appeals to the Chinese audience then the Xbox One will sink quicker than you can say "Xbox On".
However if MS take time to understand the Chinese audience, strike deals with Chinese publishers etc then maybe, just maybe they'll manage to accumulate a solid fan base. But it's early days so who knows.
I have a feeling that this is going to be my personal "GOTY 2016". That's unless Quantic Dreams next game ALSO released in 2016, then there might be some stiff competition between these two!
Of course there might be other games yet to be announced for 2016 that could be GOTY material so we'll just have to wait and see!
I really think that with KHIII Square Enix should start introducing Disney Pixar Universes. I think the graphics for Pixar Universes would be more suited to PS4 and Xbox One because they could really try and push some boundaries. Of course we wouldn't want to be without Mickey, Donald, Goofy etc but it would be nice if things were mixed up a bit. Plus I really want Russell from Up in my party xD
If Evolution offered the full game free on PS+ then how would people expect them to make money? The game surely wasn't cheap to make, they're not working for nothing. At the end of the day it's down to business and it's the retail copies sold that = profit which funds the next project. If you have PS+, download it for free. If you like it, buy it. The option is there for both so I don't really see why people have a problem with this.
Nothing to lose unless you're a PC gamer living in China. I expect some have lost their homes over bills generated by "free" to play games ;p
If defense of FFXIII the auto-attack was a lazy players option. If you took time to play the game yourself instead of letting the game play for you then it was actually a pretty solid system. There was also strategy behind it as well with the paradigms.
With that said I agree with you that the system could be tiring and repetitive at times, but it's not as bad as some people make it out to be. Also there's no denying the game was linear as hell.

I agree. I too also wasn't keen on FFVIII, but loved IX and X. I didn't like XII, but that didn't stop me from buying, and enjoying, FFXIII. For as long as FF continues to be made then I will buy the games and judge for myself.

I'm sure people are looking way too deeply in to this. Naughty Dog haven't let us down so far. Even though there have been a few departures I'm sure the remaining team are extremely talented and working towards making the best game they can.
Can't wait to see what QD bring to PS4. Beyond: Two Souls looked amazing on PS3, so can only imagine what this will look like. I hope the story is more constructive than Beyonds though, it was a bit lacking in that compartment compared to Heavy Rain.
Yeah when I get a PS4 I was going to buy a year of PS+ anyway, I wasn't even aware of this offer. No point discounting if plenty of people are buying it anyway.
I've not bought GTA V yet, so I'm hoping for a next gen remaster of that so I can play it when I get a PS4. That's if it releases on PS4...imagine if MS paid R* for exclusive rights of a remaster of GTA V for the One. Conspiracy...

EDIT: Just seen the release date announcement. Coming October, I'm planning to get PS4 around November time so hopefully it will be.

However, I have a PS3. I do not yet have a PS4. Where Watch Dogs is concerned I will not be buying it for PS3. I'd rather wait until I get a PS4 as liklihood is the game will run much smoother on the upgraded hardware, and by the time I get a PS4 (around Christmas time) the game will be cheaper.
So is this actually true? Because I'm reading different things.
