Volta V100 has only 15 tflops FP32 (what matter in gaming) only 2 tflops higher than Vega 64 and 4.x tflops higher than older P100
they claim it has 120 tflops FP16 but only because the specialized "tensor" cores for TensorFlow and similar frameworks and these won't make it to gaming cards and even if they did it doesn't matter for gaming
Where?
it just says RX Vega x2 will have over 25 tflops FP32 and 50 tflops FP16
I'm asking about
"So by late 2018 we will reach 100 teraflops at FP16 and 50 at FP 32?????"
and
"And by late 2019 we will reach 150 teraflops at FP 16 and 75 at FP32????"
25tflops FP32 and 50 tflops FP16 performance increase each year
How did you calculate this 25 FP32 and 50 tflops FP16 increase?
I got physical nioh for $45 while it's $60 on playstation store
I got physical Hitman Season 1 for $35 while it's $60 on playstation store
physical Horizon Zero Dawn cost $35 in my country while it's $50 on playstation store
and the list is long I won't wast more time
Sony just being lazy because they have the market share
you said it PS1 and PS2
PS1 no emulation at all despite it is exist on PS3
and the number of PS2 games supported on PS4 are less than 1/4 of the number of XBox 360 backward compatible on Xbox One
I didn't say it's a breeze
But Xbox 360 emulated on Xbox One while it's still in very early stages on PC
Xbox One and PS4 has the same CPU with slightly lower clock rate
Xbox 360 also use modified version of PPE (The main core of Cell processor) so at least they can emulate 3rd party games because most of them don't utilize the SPUs (the hard part) very well
Edit:
and about N64
the Wii U can defiantly emulate it
...
Sony have full datasheets of the PS3 and these developers don't have anything
Developers messages instead of long tutorial they are exist also in Dark Souls 1,2,3 and Bloodborne
and that phantom @ 1:08 also from the developers
you can check every video walkthrough this phantom always appear at the same area
I think it became a full game at the end
but people who bought the season pass will get it
@deathtok
I know what you said and I understood
just because normal Blu-Ray and 4K Blu-Ray use the same wavelength doesn't mean the older Blu-Ray can run 4K Blu-Ray
H.265 isn't the compression I meant
I meant the standard encoding used for 4K Blu-Ray it's different than normal Blu-Ray and it's built-in the hardware
not to mention the maximum bit rate of the older Blu-Ray is around 50 Mbit/s and the minimum bit rate of 4K B...
@deathtok
wavelength isn't the only problem
4k Blu-Ray needs new hardware to deal with the new compression techniques
Difficulty settings won't work for Crash because the difficult part is the platforming and it has been always difficult since 1996
"but something tells me the comparison to dark souls is a bit dramatic :p"
The first Crash is more difficult than Dark Souls and I mean the original not the remake
but I still have to play the remake
They make it sound like it's 100th gen console
No one cares about your interest
They'll make the emulator even if no one interested in playing games on it
Did you play Lords of the Fallen to reach to this conclusion?
this is a very big claim
if you like the game and want it to be success then stop this
fanboys killed Watch Dogs and if this continue they'll kill Assassin's Creed last hope
I remember fanboys kept comparing Watch Dogs to GTA even Ubisoft tried to make them understand it's a different game but fanboys will never understand and the articles comparing Watch Dogs with GTA continue
it's not Ubisoft
it's just fanboys being fanboys
it also run 60fps/1080p on PS3 emulator
but this is not the point of this report
it's just tell the progress of PS3 emulation
just 2 years ago PS3 emulator can barely run anything
Yes
kill the game before the release date
