His greatest contributions were to Earthbound and Kirby, my favorite Nintendo RPG, and one of my favorite Platformer series. I can't pretend he was a good president but he was a good programmer, and took responsibility and apologized when things did not go well, and he seemed like a genuinely decent person. RIP.
It's called "free speech," not "approvable speech." It's not nice but this insistence on silencing everyone who has a differing opinion or something not-nice to say is even worse, far more disgusting, and is actually quite dangerous. The guy was a jerk, granted, but that's his right. RIP Iwata.
I hope it's PS4 exclusive, at least for a while, so they can make it with PS4 in mind and not be held back by the XB1 version. Just find a way to port it later. If you're going to drag it through the mud then just make it for Wii U, too, may as well if it won't be at its best, and at that point put it on Vita.

I didn't think he was a great president but he did make contributions to Nintendo and this isn't the way he should have left the position. He was still relatively young, this is sad and I hope his friends and family are alright. They should honor him in a game somehow.
Anyway, I wonder how/if this will effect Nintendo and NX, and who will take over and if things will be better or worse under that new leadership.
