I agree, GTA IV was a step back from the greatness San Andreas was. That's why I'm really glad they brought everything back in GTA V. I didn't like GTA IV for it's simplicity, nothing to do other than cruise around and do A to B missions that got boring quick. Would prefer if Sony Bend makes another Syphon Filter which would widen the variety of games in the current catalog. I doubt they'll show gameplay from PS3/360 to promote the game. Have you seen the multiplayer reveal trailer? It didn't look next gen and the funny thing is that it was running on a PC. CoD Ghosts is no next gen experience. If you want a next gen first person shooter at launch, get Battlefield 4 or Killzone: Shadowfall if you're getting a PS4. I would say Titanfall, too but that's till next year. Those are true next gen console experiences.

You're right, they are optional, but it also has the potential to make the multiplayer unfair if done wrong. For example, one person can buy 10 booster packs and luckily, that player acquires one of the best weapons in the game from them. Guess what? lol Not sure why they're denying the fact that Xbox Live is modder/hacker infested. I played Red Dead: Redemption and GTA 4 plus DLCs online on my 360 and they're filled with modders that have infinite health.
