Gaming on a Mac...I'd switch back to consoles too lmao
I only replied because of your blanket statement ZBlacktt--MANY choose consoles to save money--not all, but many. I couldn't care less what people game on as it is all about opinion.
lol just look at the disagrees on anything negative about PS4. Fact: One cannot criticize Playstaton on N4G--sure makes for interesting reading smh...
There is a big difference between a "computer around the house" and a gaming computer. Most cannot afford top end computers and thus go for the cheaper console. PCs also have the intimidation factor. TBH I have never heard of anyone switching to PC gaming and going back.
Not sure what all the hate is about. Both companies use smoke an mirrors. Let us all not forget Sony's infamous "target videos" lol
N4g focuses on graphics 98% of the time....yet the people own consoles...It's like talking about going from 0-60mph all the time but owning a Toyota Prius.
It's all about "teh Graphics" when kids squabble about their consoles...Bring PC into the mix then it's all about "teh gamez" and "graphics don't matter" lol
I just don't understand why you people are going on about the PS4 s "powerz"...I mean...the hardware in both consoles is rather mediocre compared to what's available. Mark Cerny may call the PS4 'a super charged PC', but the reality is the best computer...
"In that sense, you probably know who you are already. If you're a sucker for super-detailed graphics, there can be only one choice. PC."
There. Fixed.
Lol and so another generation of kids arguing begins lol I love the "smoother" comments haha
Author: Hits achieved. *leans back and kicks feet up on desk*
Looking at Sonys specs I can only say Japans "threshold" to qualify as a "supercomputer" must be low. Not trolling, simply saying ps4 ability is being grossly inflated much like its predecessor. My pc is way more powerful than a ps4 and isn't a "supercomputer". I guess it is in Japan.
People that think the Xbox One will fail simply don't know much about business...
On the bright side, the launch line-up for this generation of consoles is much better than last. Thankfully Oblivion launched not long after last gen.
So basically N4G only on Toys r Us...lol
Fap fap fap lol what's the big deal?
Well had it been a Sony Dev praising Sony hardware that wouldn't be an issue. Why the double standard on this site? Who cares?
It's really funny seeing how many people think this type of RAM will make a huge difference.
I only read the comments to find out what console people are getting! Yes, that was sarcasm. Why do people have to announce this? No one cares.
This game looks incredible--can't wait to play it!
I don't see Steambox succeeding...just a Pc with linux. At the price, it's better to just get a Pc. To me, there is simply zero incentive to buy one. I have a high end pc, and will eventually get a console (s) (I always do eventually). Steambox simply offers nothing unique to me....
Wasted air on this site. Teh mighty Ps4 rules on N4G...lol
The consoles crowd always has the same delusions every launch--no sense fighting it. Part of the problem is idiots like Cerny spewing half-truths and artificially making claims of power that doesn't exist. Sony always muddles details as market strategy. Reality is, and always will be:
PC>Console(doesn't matter which, they are so close to differentiate--computational fact)
Now ...
You guys have lived for years playing at 30fps--I don't see what the big deal is. As a PC gamer, I appreciate the value of 60+fps but only because I have been playing PC it has become standard for me. There is a difference, but if you play consoles and always have--why is this an issue now? If graphics and FPS are concerns for you, you own the wrong hardware...
Uncharted, Halo 4 etc all were running <1080p and <30fps--and they look phenomenal. Yeah, they'd look ...
This game would have been downgraded on either console--jesus you console kids are deluded lol
Anything that advocates AMD is a plus for me. Nvidia makes good hardware but to me they are just overpriced and arrogant (IMHO). Much like Intel vs AMD, I vouch for the company that offers the best performance to price ratio--and AMD has owned that market in that sense for me. Team red (and saving money) FTW.
