I agree with your first statement. But then you go off on an illogical note.
Of course you won't be able to play all games maxed out on PC for years on end--that's idiotic. However, you will be able to play all games on medium settings for the majority of an average console life (10 years)with a decent card. PC doesn't force you to upgrade and saying hardware forced you to stop gaming on pc is silly and self-inflicted. Chasing the best of the best graphics can g...
Watch Dogs is a sloppy port (as usual) to the PC and not a very visually impressive game to begin with.
I never understood these comparison posts, as if it's possible for a console to outperform a gaming PC. If graphics are so important to you that you are doing a pixel to pixel comparison, then why not get the best of the best?
Want the most exclusives? Get a console.
Want the best graphics and performance? Get a PC.
Want both? T...
I come just to read the pizza-faced kids argue lol great stuff! Arguing over such trivial differences, why not just get the always-superior version: PC?
Last gen, this wasn't an issue. When PC gamers mentioned resolution a d fps, console gamers mewled "graphics don't matter! It's all about the story and gameplay!"
Now, that a console has FINALLY managed HD 1080p etc graphics it's this ground breaking criteria. With one console still lacking 60fps predominantly, it is used now as flamebait (fits with the two-kids-in-a-sandbox mentality).
If "obviously you buy the best version" is now ...
Sales say otherwise. Can't think of too many console exclusives that sell like Halo does.
The PC version is visually better? What a shocker!!
*checks into N4G* yep, still console kids arguing over who's toy is cooler lol This generations key words:
Xbox: The Cloud (phantom power)
PlayStation: 1080p (suddenly no longer a "gimmick").
And this is supposed to be upsetting to an adult? Lol Jesus Christ.
Really funny how 1080p was a "gimmick" and it's "all about the game" to the console crowd when Pc goers were praising it's awesomeness. Yet now, unsurprisingly, the PS4 crowd is experiencing it (welcome, finally) and spitting on Microsoft for being "primitive" and "underpowered". lol Hypocrisy and it's many flavours =P
The first game was innovative in numerous ways and that was the reason it was a success--those innovations over-shadowed laughably repetitious gameplay.
I felt Black Flag was a good game which was only tainted every time Ubisoft forced the player to walk that familiar, repetitive and unimaginative gameplay such as the assassins contracts (horrendously unimaginative). I honestly think they need to abandon the familiar and try to invent a new direction. To be honest without th...
I think their issue was primarily price. The Wiiu simply isn't worth the price it came out at. I'd actually buy one if it were in the $150 range as I enjoy their games (New Super Mario Bros. 2 specifically). Just my two cents.
Nice to see the return of this theater after about a decade of absence.
Xbox One is selling well on it's own....folks here are not doing too well with that fact lol
When will this topic ever die? Jesus Christ.
LOL Next article on N4G: "PS4 owners are against puppy abuse while Xbox owners love it". This site is awesome.
I have yet to see a game that doesn't.
Xbox can't be doing well!!! MS paid someone off! They are including units shipped! Lmao the comments and insecurity on this site are worth the read. If you gain satisfaction from "your console" outselling the other then, to quote Buzz Lightyear: you are one sad little man.
As I said from the beginning: Microsoft will do just fine. More important question is: why would that bother you?
lol Ah, this article was written for people like you. Makes sense now.
I don't know what is scarier: the fact there is someone dumb enough to write such an article or the fact that it was approved for posting.
My thoughts exactly. Bloody kids and their ADD--the very type that think "reading is boring".
