"So Sony slams Microsoft for something they didn't have the balls to pull off"
That statement would be soo true IF the XB! came out at $399
I miss the good old days when you bought a disc based game and you could play it. They seem to be gone now because of DRM and every game publisher trying to make persistent worlds. Guess people should just wait until the game is heavily discounted before they purchase because at that time most if not all the problems would be fixed.

@DayZ
It could have zero games during its whole entire lifespan and that wouldn't change the fact that the tech behind the Kinect is an improvement over the last. Which is why its ranked 9th by Popular Mechanics which is a tech magazine not a games magazine.
Edit: I dislike motion gaming, I don't think gaming should ever focus on it again but that doesn't change the fact motion gaming was revolutionary.
Popular Mechanics is right IMO. XB1 is in the top ten because the Kinect 2.0 is a leap technologically over its previous model. People may not like it, it may not successful but that doesn't stop it from being an improvement over the last model.
I got an Email from Uplay about taking a survey "Help Us Make Better Games" it was called. Ancient Egypt and Feudal Japan were my choices. So its good to know I may game a game in that era. I would like to see an Assassin Creed game take place anywhere but modern times.
Can't wait to dual wield swords and guns
I would like to know as well. Does it change anything if they are the same?
Offline mode is all the fans want, and EA(Maxis) doesn't give it to them. A lot of online only AAA games are coming up for release for next year and I can bet they will all have the same problems as GTAV Online and Sim City did/have.
I'm sure the white trophy icon is just a placeholder. Seeing as how the PS3 and Vita both show icons/pics
Edit: Still a guess though, but using a bit of logic
I've seen EU promotions on sites that use the dollar sign, I didn't want to assume.
Curious to know which PSN. EU or NA?
no a ps4 can not "play" ps3 games. the ps4 just registers what ps3 game you have in the disc tray and then offers you the digital version at a discount on the selected games that are promoting it.
Edit:
Yea these guys are reporting that all they need is a patch for everything to work and there is still over a month to go, they got plenty of time. I would kind be disappointed if it wasn't day one considering you need to do an update day 1 anyways.
The update will likely be part of the day one patch the XB1 is getting.
@da1writer
Thanks for the info and your links are way more recent than the ones I showed below...
So sounds like they are on top of it and that the systems will be getting those firmware updates quickly, or have a bunch of angry fans. lol
This article also mentions "Sony-branded PULSE gaming headset (or the elite edition of that product)" I would have thought for sure that would've worked day one being a Sony product and all. <...
Yea a bunch of Game sites confirm that Sony's PS4 will support wireless PS3 headsets. Its easy to find a source for them confirming it. quick google and

People just need to enjoy gaming whatever they play it on and not worry about the other guy. The Fanboyish nature just sucks
I don't think "strong arming" 3rd parties will work for Nintendo because a lot of 3rd party games just don't sell like they do on the others. Maybe they could strong arm it in a way that if the WiiU version doesn't get it all they can't put games on the 3DS or something like that because all the 3rd parties want on the 3DS.
The missing features(DLC, Online MP)seem to stem from being connected and using a network. The WiiU never seems to be missing an...
Collection is the wrong word. Should be more like a re-release of Castlevania: Lords of Shadow with bonuses. I can always wait for it to go on sale before I pick up a copy
Has it not been that way, like that with every Gen since the beginning?
@Brish
I usually don't/haven't, considering Internet services only arrived in my area just before E3. Most of the blockbuster games at E3 had " persistent worlds" which is another way of saying DRM and its the way the industry is going/trending, people are going to go out in masses and get these games (Destiny, Crew, Division, Titanfall,etc.) Might as well wait 6 months and get it for cheap and not have to worry about all the DRM/Server problems because its ...
