Its one of my biggest complaints that is an easy fix. The Vita can do it too. Not sure if the PS4 needs an update to be able to play PS1,PS2 games or if its a hardware issue but can't go wrong with any feature that adds a ton of games.
I still recommend PS3's over PS4's to anyone who asks because it has a massive library and it feels like online is not required unlike the PS4, while it doesn't require it, it sure does feel like it.
I hope we can finally view trophies offline, nothing worst than trying to see what trophies your missing when I've taken the system with me to the cottage.

I was thinking the same thing. It should be a lot higher. If I'm doing the math right, its early here. Let's say it sold a million, each player would have played 6 games or if it sold 500k each player would have played 12 games? They just seem like crappy numbers no matter how I look at it.
Of course there is PVP a whole province is for that. I'm not sure how that selling potions is paid to win. Sure it helps people save time but I don't see any advantage when you can buy them from in-game vendors or buy the "better version" ones from the people who craft. Middle tier stuff here to help people save some time.

All players from different platforms playing under the same roof. That would be something interesting to see and the only other game I have ever heard of that has also done it was FF11. Let the fanboys fight it out in PvP. lol
How exactly is Interplay stopping Bethesda in doing whatever it wants to do with its own franchise? MMO or not Bethesda owns the IP and even the article states that. I call BS on the rumor for now.

That was my 1st thought but then I decided to keep my comment to console games from last gen.
The only remasters I really want are Oblivion and Skyrim
I'm sure it might be worth it for those who haven't played it but I just picked up the PS3 version for $10 and I'm sure SE will charge full price for it

While I agree the "Lack Of Originality" is a problem. I don't think its an over abundance of sequels that are causing the problem to me but more of the new IPs that play just like every other game in that genre like Watch Dogs, Titan Fall, Destiny, etc
If only that price in Canada. Its cheaper to import the thing then buy it here atm.
I find it hard to agree with Nintendo from what I'm reading here here simply because a number of others allow it and even push for exposure. For example EA the worst game company has this Ronku program that pays extra to the Youtubers on top of what they normally get. I don't understand why Nintendo is trying to get a cut when all these others are simply wanting exposure. I doubt I know the whole story and likely seeing one side.

Same here. I was hoping for a Dragon's Dogma 2 but there likely won't be one for awhile now that this is announced.

Nothing is wrong with playing with friends. I would have loved a DD with optional co-op but not a persistent online world with a lobby filled with 100 random people. The game seems more MMO than co-op
Always sync for a new total but the PS4 won't even show that old total if I'm offline, just says to sign in to view.
Both the PS3 and the Vita will at least show me my old total and what trophies I currently have for that platform I'm on at that moment.
