This is a good sign
Doesn't change the fact they don't belong in a $60 game
I would like to see some more No Man's Sky or maybe them showing more Vita games are coming to the west instead of being eastern exclusives.
@thekhurg
There is nothing wrong with Indies. Some are good and some are bad just like those games you listed. The ones they listed just don't cater to my tastes. Out of the games you listed I only like a few of those and the rest I would lump into the ones in the article as I'm not Interested.
Will do.
+Bubble. Thanks for the heads up. Its good to see they haven't dropped it yet.
Not a single game I would be interested in. Looks like the Vita gets no love. What ever happened to that Mad Max game?
I boycott DLC from everyone not just Ubisoft. :)
They were good up until Black Flag. Rogue is pretty good. Watch Dogs was good just didn't live up to the hype and the graphics got watered down but your right Unity sucks. I'm sure Far Cry 4 is going to be good. The Crew Beta is enough for me to tell its a good game and we still have The Division.
I find most of Ubisofts games pretty good and to call them garbage makes you sound sour
Maybe it has something to do with timezones.
To early to have all this fixed before FC4 comes out.
That's what I'm waiting for too. I am more interested in playing Rogue than Unity. Unity was the 1st AC game I skipped
"One of his suggestions is that game publishers or developers should wait at least 2 years before including them in a bundle."
With the way day one patches are going I have no problem waiting. Certain companies or franchises always have a bundle of sorts that includes DLC later down the road after release. I usually pass on those games until the bundle comes out. For example I waited until now to buy Saints Row 4 and received all the DLC included.
"Even if this is the result of NDAs, because of them, it shows that game companies have too much control. Especially when considering the first-day and pre-order sales mentality they've only been pushing.
They're entitled to quick high volume sales, to put out incomplete games or games which require day one patches, when reviews can be released, but consumers somehow don't have any rights regarding those bad games unless a big enough stink is raised. And even...
how many PS3s sold in the 1st year compared to the 360? I think the 360 was around 10 million after its 1st year which is better than what the X1 is doing at the moment. Is the X1 doing better than the PS3 did its 1st year? How many Wii's sold in the 1st year compared to the PS4's 1st year? Is the PS4 doing better sales wise than the PS2 did? Those are the types of things I'm interesting in seeing
What was the Wii, PS3 and 360 1st year sales? I would have been nice to show a comparison including those as well to get a larger picture of what is happening.
"Saints Row IV National Treasure Edition (PS3) – $13.49, $14.99"
Is that SR4 and all the DLC? If so, call me sold
Its pretty good imo. I enjoy the battle system. The story is not anything to write home about but its not bad. I can't really compare it to other "tales" games as I haven't played them but the combat is more like Star Ocean than FF games.
Earning titles gives you new moves and increases your stats. The crafting system is unique and I like the ability to upgrade your weapons over and over. Playing on Chaos is a decent challenge as mobs can one shot kill you ...
"They could probably release a new IP in the Summer and a old IP in November and still have enough time before each release to keep the quality up and keep things fresh."
That would be a great idea for publishers to do The thing is with Ubisofts new IPs though, they are using many of the same old ideas game to game that new IPs don't feel so new. So even a new Prince of Persia game I fear would feel just like an AC game.
Publishers should not have the power to force review embargoes
Yeah it already had a price drop in some places here by $10. I don't think I've ever seen that happen this close after launch.
