Steven Spielberg made Animaniacs cartoons and the spin offs, if I remember correctly or he was directly involved with the cartoons.
I've played NES games on iPhones and they work fine, so if they really wanted to do it they could.

You make a very good point to, Destiny is a big MMO without a sub and if they can do it why can't ESO is my question.
I think ESO is going to fail on consoles as well, so seeing how long they keep the servers up and running while bringing in new content for them will be interesting.
They could make it sub free on consoles so it doesn't fail and just charge for the new content like DLC?
True I may have gone a little extreme, but saying a company doesn't stand a chance without knowing what's going on behind closed doors is also wishful thinking is what I was getting at even with the reasons the article gave, its still not set in stone
I'm just thinking that MS are going to try something to try and have a strong start in Japan. I really can't see them rolling over to die at the beginning of this Gen.
Couple of the things MS might do are timed exclusives, buy exclusives, timed DLC and if they get the right games with the right stuff it could be interesting. Now how far they will go or how deep they reach in their pockets is another thing.
A crazy example would be a FF7 remake exclusi...
lol, No they haven't said anything. I was just pointing out that everyone says MS doesn't stand a chance in Japan and if they announced something like exclusive content for those games it could be a game changer for MS in Japan.

Min looks pretty bad but not unplayable.
I thought the first two looked like crap but they were fun, so this new one has me hyped because it looks good plus the franchise has a history of being fun. Seems like a Win win
I'm not a 100% sure about that even with the reasons the writer gave because if Microsoft released the X1 and said exclusive content is coming for FF15 and KH3 it likely will be a big deal.

I love TES games and TES is actually my favorite franchise. I've played the ESO beta and watched people play the beta.
Its missing the TES "feel" a lot of the time, its hard to explain but I guess it would be the sum of all the little things that you continue to notice while playing ESO. I like the idea of other adventures in the world but I don't think it is being executed well, it feels more like any other MMO most of the time with some TES mixed in.
Doesn't every game use the touchpad to at least bring up a map or menu? I know all mine do, so how would that work with this controller

Didn't mention the $100 price drop. If the WiiU did a price drop just before the big guns releases I can see the WiiU flying off the selves like the 3DS.
This game has co-op, is it split screen? Play with no mic, problem solved. I see it as a feature I wouldn't want because I didn't think it was any fun shouting at those store clerks to rob them faster in GTAO.
From the review it seems like south park has a bit of both WRPG and JRPG elements in the game.
JRPGS generally follow a linear story line with story driven characters. Usually they are told more like a story or movie.
WRPGs are more Sandbox driven
