Sony will not do away with physical copies. They will be losing a portion of their fan base via the ones who have limited or no internet access. They may focus more on streaming & only make physical copies of bigger budget games (AAA's, etc.), but that's it. Can you imagine if when games like GTAV released that they were DL-only?
It's also not really about "collectors" being hurt over no physical copies, because the truth is that even if you have a 1TB drive ...
I think the ad 'could' also be aimed towards whatever they're doing with the new model PS Move controllers.
But whatever they're doing, I'm loving it & can't get enough!

Nemesis from Resident Evil 3 was pretty scary.
I was literally tip-toeing my character through the rooms in fear of when & where he would pop out from.
I think it adds to the "realism" to have both genders as enemies, but it does open the door for controversy.
But to some degree, conscious developers can be creative with this, allowing male characters to kill the female characters different & less violent than others.
If next gen is digital only, they are going to go the same route as the "HD Collection"; re-releasing the game over & over. Digital now, retail later, & collectors after, & that's unfair.
If this is the case, I'll just get the PS3 version retail & wait for the collectors version on the PS4, which I hope will be retail. At least I would get the MG experience in the meantime & have the option to trade it in when the better version comes.
Let's just enjoy what's available for the PS4 now, & wait until spring 2014.
It's not far off & Metal Gear will release. Metal Gear always set the pace for PS consoles.
Bottomline is, that's potential sales loss for PS4 launch if everyone can use their existing headsets/bluetooths. Because then, who will buy the Sony launch headsets or what they. may release in the near future? After they make their headset sales, then they will "patch" things so that any headset or Bluetooth will work.
But to be honest, did'nt Sony say that the Bluetooth they use in the PS4 is the next level Bluetooth? I don't remember the spec level that the P...
I do believe that you should be able to sell your digital content simply because you purchased it & it's yours. But again, remember, part of the reason digital came along is to prevent resells that the companies can't profit off of. So there's a little fine line there.
For me, digital doesn't really excite me unless A; it's only available via digital & I want it, or B; they offer games through digital weeks before it's release date.Like if GTAV was offe...

For those complaining about removing trophies, I don't see the big deal, really. Do you know how much total time I may spend looking at trophies in a monthz time? I only look at the moment when I'm playing a particular game & want to know what I'm looking for.
Also, if your totally concerned about people seeing your 0% trophies, isn't there an option that let's you optimize the list from high to low? That way all your golden ultra platinums will show 1st?

I think it would be if they did something eerie with high adrenaline, maybe like some backwoods scary looking cult people who hunt you around the city, picketing, yelling obscenities & chasing you. That's not too far fetch, it's realistic & not quite comical, & no need for zombies. Also, I think it would fit the character of the city well.
