The demo played much worse than 4 and 5. The graphics are worse than RE5, the controls are too loose, the camera can give you motion sickness, there are QTEs up the ass and the animations for complimenting your team mate are laughable.

To be fair though, we live in a day and age where online multiplayer for a fighting game is practically a requirement.
Just because it didn't exist for the games back then doesn't mean it shouldn't exist now for a re-release. Look at games like Third Strike and Mortal Kombat Arcade Kollection. Online play didn't exist for those games back then but when re-released they were (even though online for the MK Arcade Kollection is laggy as hell).
