It's less than 100 MB and one of the best games of 2019. So I'd get it, it's not hard finding a GOG version online since it's already DRM free.
Following the storm the developer got from saying that they were forced by their publisher, 3D Realms, to apologise and censor their game. On top of that they were also forced to "donate" $10,000 of their day one sales to a LGBQT charity. People were extremely disappointed with this move that they started to review bomb their Steam Store page with negative reviews. The game went from Overwhelmingly Positive to Mixed bordering on Negative in review scores now. Many people got refunds...
Exactly. Fun is a subjective thing anyway. Some people might find walking simulator genre games fun, while others can't stand the concept alone. Death Stranding seems extremely interesting with perhaps a higher emphasis on storytelling than gameplay. I enjoyed MGS4 despite some saying it was boring and just cut scenes, if this is even half of what that game was, this will be a hit in my opinion.
Did people honestly believe that? That's kind of wild. I see arguments that their games will end up everywhere just because they release all their games on PC now, too. Yet people fail to realise that Microsoft owns Windows so in a way they're still exclusive to Microsoft and certainly still exclusive to their console, if you dig deep into it.
I wasn't aware this game even needed defending?Judging the game based off what they have shown so far is too premature. It may seem boring to some but they really haven't shown much which is intentional.
I just learned to be entertained by comments such as those. Having such strong brand loyalty nowadays just seems so odd, since gaming has reduced to large corporations just bleeding money from us. They mock PC gamers when we're just another subset of the same coin flipped. We're nothing less or more than a console gamer, but yet they feel like we're superior.
This is coming from someone with consoles and a PC primarily. We just want to play games, and yeah if t...
Don't forget among some listed by IRetrouk they also had Warhakw, Starhawk and MAG at one point. So it's not something they are strangers to.
Got this game on release day it's really good. I see people on here saying they're buying it now just because of this, do it. You won't regret it if you enjoy old school FPS Build Engine games!
Disappointed that DMC V is only going to Xbox GamePass and not PC. Bummer. The other offerings aren't bad though, can't wait to play them!
It's not difficult to find their reasoning. People just flat out despise anything done by Xbox. Despise might not even be a strong enough word to describe how some of these people feel about the Xbox brand. Utter disdain, resentment, and probably even pure hatred. It's odd seeing nothing really change having been here since 2009 and earlier. Console wars will never truly go away it seems.
As someone who plays on all consoles and mostly PC these days, this site is indeed entertaining. Nothing like a cup of coffee in the morning while reading people staunchly defend and argue about petty video game stuff.
It's known Nintendo handicapped themselves by making the GameCube only read their proprietary disc format. They repeated the same mistake they had done with the Nintendo 64 in that both consoles were quite powerful for their time but were severely handicapped by their storage media.
Same. Looking forward to seeing the ray tracing effects in action when it's out.
I can actually see this happening if cloud gaming becomes huge. We'd start to see companies like Google or any other streaming competitor purchase studios to make them exclusive games and such. It'd be the only way they would stand out.
Parallels can be drawn with each other though. In fact we can already see it happening with gaming publishers already starting to charge for their own subscription services independently. We'd just see this happen again if cloud gaming becomes successful by some miracle.
I don't see video game streaming as being successful but if it did I can see it playing out exactly like Netflix. We'd have one company control most of the video game streaming library since it&...
Thanks for listing them out for us.
They're not fixing the issue for free though. At least if you're out of warranty. Many people have said they were charged $40 for repairs on theirs. Maybe now after this statement and more people brought light of the problem they'll do it for free though.
I've been getting the itch to replay those games recently. Here's hoping for a remastered bundle soon.
Doom 2016 on Switch has dethroned Killzone: Mercenary in terms of best handheld FPS. Killzone: Mercenary was a blast to play, and truly was the best FPS on handhelds at the time though.
Even Ion Fury, an old school FPS game built on an engine from the 90s, seems to be longer than this game. Ion Fury is $25 as well. So far I've logged 10 hours on Ion Fury and I'm not even done with it yet.
