If this is indeed the case i will sell my PS4, add some money to that and get another gfx card for my PC.
Becouse it borrows so heavily from franchises that weve been getting for over a decade and as a result it feels OLD. If i want to play Halo or COD ill play those games, i wont buy this shitty hybrid.
So nobody is going to mention how the game runs at 60fps? Thats seems pretty damn good considering its on console. For a game where your constantly on the move lower resolution shouldnt be such a big problem.
One of the few reworks that havent led me to stop visiting the site so yeah its alright. I wouldnt say its better, plenty of things are now more annoying then before but i can deal with it.
On a side note, WTF is up with everything being reworked to have large pics? For mobile it just means there is more to load in, and on PC it means more scrolling and less to see. Its goddamn stupid and i wish it would stop.

Every time whenever a site does this kind of overhaul they make the most basic features all complicated for the sake of looking fancier. Afcourse its the same thing here, harder to scroll through articles, comment section has been ruined etc.

There is some truth to that sure. But keep in mind there are plenty of games out there that had no real "end-game content", centered on blind repetition and still managed to keep people coming back for years. Games like COD and LoL are prime examples.
I dislike how instead of punishing the ones who took advantage of the exploits they nerf drop rates across the board increasing the gap between cheaters and honest players even further.
Hell ive used them, im not affraid to admit it. Its becouse you cannot be competetive in the Dark Zone without them...
Really cool to see some uncensored stuff on Steam. But as much as im a fan of VNs i doubt ill get it, not big fan of female protagonists...

You missed the whole point. Just like the article in question i took a number from an actual study then used those numbers to try and push my own silly agenda. The 87% is real, though.
Speak for yourself, there are plenty of people out there that like a solid campaign in their shooters. You wouldnt just say "skip making multiple maps for multiplayer, 80% of the playerbase only ever plays 1game mode on the same map anyway" would you?
Balance in Gears 3 was terrible. Remember the sawed-off? The shotgun nerf? The wall hopping nerfs? There are plenty more examples. Most of the people i play with today i met through Gears games and none of them liked Gears 3 balancing or map design...
