It's a good thing they passed on the tech. Too bad Microsoft didn't pass on it too. Screw Natal, PS Move, and anything even remotely similar.
I think most of you guys think it's suppose to be solely a gaming show which it's not. Personally I miss the old G4. It was pretty good back when it was G4TechTV but I'm talking even before that. I miss the old shows like Arena, Blister, Icons, Filter, and especially Cinematech.
BTW screw all of you KP and Olivia Munn haters out there. They do a better job being hosts than most other tv show people out there.
The DRM was the reason I didn't buy C&C4.
No but fanboys will say they're the greatest games ever made.
More fuel to the fanboy's fire. Only Sony/Naughty Dog fanboys would say UC2 is the greatest game ever. I don't even think it's the greatest game on the PS3, Metal Gear Solid 4 holds that title imo.
Microsoft fanboys love their Halo,
Nintendo fanboys love their Super Mario,
PC fanboys love their Half Life,
and now Sony fanboys love their Uncharted.
And the fanboys are eating it up as expected.
I haven't changed my position on motion control. I still think it is NOT the direction gaming should be moving in.
Raiden wasn't really that bad in MGS2 and he was just absolutely badass in MGS4. Nero definitely deserves to be on that list though.
Finally a list for gamers that have been around for a few generations.
Motion control is completely useless for racing games.
I wouldn't say one is better than the other but Nariko is definitely sexier than Kratos ;)
A pretty good list. Definitely waiting on a Fear Effect 3. Also looking forward to Zone of the Enders 3. It's been announced but let's see how long it takes to be made.
I agree with most of the comments on this video, but I don't think monitoring what your kids play is the answer. If my parents ever told me a can't play a game because it was too violent or I couldn't watch a movie because it had sex when I was growing up I would've looked at them like they were crazy. I like to think I've turned out pretty good. It's the same now with everyone I know. Sometimes I think it's better to teach kids about violence while they're still young and show them why it's ...
Man we need to get you on a show so you can take the blanket off these people's eyes. Someone really needs to put them on the spot and explain to them why they think the way they do and have them look at the debate from our (the gamers) perspective. Bubs ^^
BTW that comment about Fox's Half Hour News Hour was pretty funny, probably because it's so true.
I'm pretty sure these kids have been talking sh!t even before they picked up a controller.
Motion Control could just instantly die off and I wouldn't care one bit. I might actually be happy about it. It's alright for casual gaming I guess, but it's useless when it comes to hardcore/competitive/true gaming.
My PSP has served me well over the years. If you think the PSP is a flop then you either don't own one or are just too oblivious to all the great games on the platform and how versatile it is. Or you're just a fanboy.
Most of the female gamers I know like the same types of games as guys which makes me really irritated when female gamers, or any gamers for that matter, are generalized. My step dad is a 47 year old OG Crip gang member and he plays games that would be considered hardcore, but most people think he would only play games like Madden and MW2.
You forgot to mention MGS4
Glad I didn't get my hopes up.
