Agree with all of those to an extent except that there is every reason to upgrade mother base. I gather you havent played many stealth games in this case cause nearly all of them are the same its the story of how you get to the objective which makes them what they are.
See Welly I think the exact same about the Witcher. The combat was boring and repetitive and every weapon was exactly the same except for stats. Im not denying the faults in the phantom pain but the CORE gameplay is not only the best in the genre but like I said the best PLAYING game this year hands down and for someone who loves the stealth genre above all others it IS a masterpiece in that respect.

You really hate this game dont you, ive seen you bash it on every n4g article since it came out. Best playing game this year other than bloodborne. I agree with alot of the complaints with the story because it is bad later on but to say its not a must own is utter horse, especially with mgo dropping in 2 weeks.

You can never, NEVER please everyone. Theres always someone to pick holes in your game which is why no game will be perfect. Kojima is someone who is always trying new things and whether you like the game or not it is one of the few things in this industry that deserves praise. I think despite its many flaws and the fact the story is not finished the game is a blast in terms of stealth gameplay. For me its in the running for goty.

Yh theres something really off about the story and mission structure in general. Why would the game give you a select few missions with difficulty modifiers from act 1 and why is act 2 only 8 missions long? For whatever reason kojima san didnt finish his game.

Do you have experience in video game development? You cant quantify only content against the budget theres so much more that goes into making games. In this instance i think a significant portion of the funding went in to developing the fox engine from the ground before the game was even in the conceptual stage. Destinys budget was almost twice that of mgs 5 and is half the game. Just accept the game for what it is, a masterpiece despite its flaws.
For me its MGS for 3 completely different points but hey everyone has their own tastes
Thought the Witcher was trash. Gameplay was boring and one dimensional and the game was a bug-fest. I have to commend it for the size of its open world and story telling but it got old fast for me.
MGS on the other hand is purely addicting in its gameplay and am currently having fun doing the mission tasks and S - ranking all the main missions. Have to criticise it for the poor story telling and the amount of loading hid behind the damn sequences looking at the back of snakes head in...

Just finished it today and can quite honestly say despite the ps4 version being pretty bad technically, the story in particular and its atmosphere has put it in the running for my personal GOTY. Absolutely fantastic game with such a thought provoking story and interesting lore. Highly recommend this game.
