Sony are releasing OLED's this year, but they are LG's panels anyway, ha. They are the only company with factories that have the capacity to manufacture the panels.
3 out 5 panels are used from manufacturing, the other 2 are discarded as they don't meet the standards.
Haa, don't we all brother. It is a hefty price, but I'm willing to spend on the 65 b series this year as the panels coming out May onwards from LG (OLED) don't have much significant improvement (not enough to warrant another £1000 for me anyway).
These OLEDS this year are fairly future proof with Dolby Vision etc.

Yea, that's what I kind of thought.. Although i'm hoping the term 'day 1' is only with reference to purchasers and that reviewers are able to access it earlier. I think it will be pre - 'day 1' build too.
Seems like a hefty update that could affect reviews.
Do you know if reviewers are playing/reviewing with or without the large day one patch?
- Resident Evil VR (alone has justified the purchase).. Ace Combat VR... Farpoint... Gran Turismo Sport VR... Project Cars 2 VR, DIRT Rally VR Are all arguably giving more experiences than other consoles this year (let alone the support for PS4 generally). This isn't even including the great games I enjoyed on VR at launch - albeit short, they blew my mind and anyone's that I showed it to.

I can't stand Quarter to Three.. It is just a guy/girl putting themselves on a pedestal, acting like they actually have the credibility to award such ridiculously low scores to professionals who have often worked the asses off, or even sometimes outdone themselves - contrary to Quarter to Three's beliefs.

Man, me and my gf were just saying that last night while playing Res 7 VR. I'm not sure I could handle it. Something about that game sends shivers down my spine!
I agree with MGS5.. But P.T. was pretty groundbreaking to me in retrospect within the horror genre. I know Outlast was similar, but P.T. was executed way more convincingly for me.
It will I would have thought.. I think 90's is entirely possible too.
I feel Nioh could have been 90 meta if these reviewers stopped comparing to DS (like other genres of games don't borrow frequently from other games).

What? I'm a massive Sony fan.. People have the wrong idea here - suddenly voicing an ounce of concern towards an otherwise stellar looking game is somehow trolling.
I guess it was mainly that scene.. But I'm also (maybe unfairly) comparing the other cutscenes to how polished the rest of the game is.. The models lack the small facial movements that I would expect, whilst also seeming quite static. The VA acting isn't overly convincing in some other scenes either.
I was just wondering if this is something they would still have time to polish within a month..

Awesome... The game looks magnificent - I do have issues with the current models with regards to lighting, some VA, and character mannerisms while conversing in dialogue wheel cutscenes.. Does anyone know what the likelihood is of GG being able to sort some of it out within a month before release (patched)? Seems like the only weakness at this point.
