He says this, yet GOW on vanilla PS4 looks leagues ahead of his game..

By far the most delusional thing I have read for a long time.. Ha, absolutely nuts.

Dead Space 4 which is like DS1 please.

Checkerboard rendering and 30fps - possibly not what some were hoping for here. Same with multi platform titles such Destiny 2 and Assassins Creed for whatever reason.

The truth is that the X will only really shine through first party development, who are willing to give the title the extra elbow grease that the X could provide.. At this point it is only natural to not use resources on a weaker install base.. First party development however, is the department where the MS ...

@mcstorm

This is not about performance, or being 30fps or 60fps. The fact is, is that these weather effects look better regardless of whether Forza is 60fps. It is also a fact that the Xbox-X is 4 times more powerful than the PS4 vanilla (or something like that), so should arguably be pushing 60fps with even better effects than Driveclub.

While one is arcade, and one is (arguably) a sim, they both aim for realism with concern to graphics, so that makes ...

All three games are aiming for realism with regards to graphics, so all should be compared equally on a graphical scale.

Reflections? That's a strange example to bring up, considering Driveclub's are better here also. Just look at the spoilers and the puddles. I'll give you the car bonnet reflections though, although I think they look quite artificial.

Driveclub in this comparison.

When you declare that you are 'disgusted', it negates any sense of calm. No one here is buying your story, the truth is, is that this original comment hit a nerve for you for some unknown reason, while you do no attempt to refute other extreme fanboyism (way worse than my original comment) from people like Moldy etc.

You seem to have a deep superiority complex with concerns to gaming which is akin to console fanboyism, and everyone can see it - look around, lol,...

Yet I read your comment history, and you are biased to the same degree. Moving on..

Saying 'we' as sole console owners of the PS4, is completely applicable with regards to 'mega ton announcements', compared to sole owners of an Xbox for whom the announcement does not involve.

Man, I think you need to relax.. I just like debating about one of my hobbies. Sorry to offend your really serious circle of extreme gamers who can't possibly criticise another product or fanbase, who have been gaming from 'the start'.. My apologies o wise ...

Sorry to sound in anyway defensive here, but I'm just responding to the MS fans ridiculous gloating to an all round diabolical E3, and let's be honest, MS needed it more.. What they seem to forget, is that outside of other conventions throughout the year, we get this wonderful thing called Playstation Experience.. YEARLY. The last one happened to trump the MS show, and the Sony E3 showing combined (in my opinion).

So when you guys claim glory for this E3, which is ...

It was in the same way I agree, but Sony also showed extended footage of 1st party real exclusives (even though already seen largely), still showed why their 1st party studios trumped MS's efforts.

MS relied on timed exclusives and multi platforms on a much bigger scale than Sony did.

Sony's was well below par compared to other years, but to say MS beat them is plain deluded - theirs was one of the most boring conferences I have seen for some time. 99% of what they showed were multi platform thus an advert for Sony too, the show dragged with weird 'Porsche showcase' moments, the last half of the games library were pretty much indies which I thought MS fans hated, they had a crushing price tag announcement... and finally, Sony's 1st party games ended up loo...

I was shocked at how bad that was if I'm honest.. What kind of a presentation was that to show the benefits of MS's ($500!!!!) machine. Terrible list of actual exclusives, horrible pacing (Porsche section?!!), non-consumer friendly use of the word 'exclusive', and Phil's enthusiasm seemed to just retreat towards the latter stages of the show. Not to mention multiple games seemed to be down graded - Crackdown looked pretty bad to me, and only insinuated that the stories o...
