That's what happens when a tiny team without a huge crew of stress-testers tries to release a game for two platforms simultaneously.

I have a 970 myself and the game is unplayable right now...good that I didn't buy it yet. It's possible my 5 year old CPU is the problem though as I'm sure the game is very CPU heavy with all that procedural generation.

4K gaming is at least 5 years away from becoming mainstream, even longer worldwide. It's right Sony and MS are trying to incorporate 4K functionalities but there's no need to rush it.
