I know the game will still be awesome but it's still disappointing they couldn't get it to run at better fps on PS4.

Yeah, I had the same thought...Someone she grew attached to or even several people in those 3 or so years in between the games.
At the PSX panel Troy Baker and Neill Druckmann talked about how they tried out scenes for the game two years ago already. It won't come out 2017, that's Uncharted's year..2018 if we're very lucky but more likely something like spring 2019.
