Fact is : even if xbox coudl have handle technicly this beauty (not sure at all), microsoft don't/can't support user content ! remember unrela tournament (only ps3 version, and pc off course, can support user maps and mods)
People playing stardust 3D with samsung 3D tV (perhaps sony's), watching bluray 3D prove your are so wrong.

Most of the modern lcd panel are perfect for console gaming.
They are both good@lcd, often using same panels, but sony has always a better electronic (except for the media center compatibility)
