We have to keep in mind that Naughty Dog games are scripted linear movies. Getting that graphical fidelity is easier in that type of game than say Red Dead 2 or Arkham Knight( I thought looked great).
Checks Metacritic real quick, looks at Breath of The Wild and Nintendo exclusives attachment rate, and comes back. Nintendo kills PlayStation in exclusives and is the only company that could survive off just exclusives and the only one that can leave them the same price. PlayStation fans are so ignorant.

The game of generation is Breath of the Wild. Players and Critics have agreed (Metacritic PSN fans). Incoming downvoted from the most toxic fan base in the world.

The number one phone maker in sales is an Asian company. But, Apple is still successful. The race isn’t about sales, but making money. And, Microsoft is about to make billions more than PlayStation. This will in return mean more investment for games.

Do your research for Xbox series optimized games and games like the medium built only for series X. PlayStation historically takes a while to release good games anyway for new systems, so not sure what the issue is.

Watch and read 10 reviews. Then, watch some gameplay previews. You know, like people do know for $60 games. Developers sure as hell better give us the complete game for the money though. I normally wait a month or so for games to drop in Amazon.
You can get a 50 inch 4K TCL( gamer TV) for $320. Gamers need to be selective for sure. But Gamepass and the devs I support will be good for me next gen.
The INDUSTRY unfortunately will survive off casuals that just play COD, NBA, FIFA, and the like. They will not care about price and a ten dollar jump isn’t as bad as people think it is. People spend so much money on phones, but don’t want to pay up for the best form of immersion.
I would hope a walking simulator looks good.
