Brand Loyalty is an unusual term for me. It’s weird to be loyal to a company that doesn’t give a damn about you. This is always interesting to me. I will get both systems when they release a game I have to play.
Like everyone that buys Madden, Call of Duty, NBA, etc. Sports games could release dlc to update rosters and Call of Duty never change. But, millions buy these games foolishly. Game Pass alone is reason to get an Xbox. Plus they have more studios to reveal games and acquisitions coming. Companies don’t care about you. Let’s not forget the PS3 reveal.

What games are you going to be getting on PS5 within the first year. I get all systems and there is no game that has made me need either system revealed for launch yet. Plus PlayStation normally has dry year and half to start.

That’s a terrible comparison. A vehicle is just a means of transportation. Consoles provide the deepest level of immersion and are in a billion dollar industry. People have no problem upgrading phones for hundreds, but consoles are a no. I get all three consoles every gen so I don’t miss out on anything. There was a lack of gameplay from both PlayStation and Xbox events. It is what it is.
The PS4 sounds like a jet engine and they have the second best exclusives to Nintendo. Nintendo lives off mostly exclusives.

Microsoft made significantly more money in the 360 era than Sony did with the PS3. Even if you include the RROD. The PSN has the biggest hack in gaming ever putting millions of information at risk, and forcing them to release free games to apologize. PlayStation also lost billions that gen on PS3. XBOX 360 won to gamers and the media.
