What about the Saw series or the Hostel movies. Now those have some brutal scenes.
Nerdmaster, and by your logic, any RPG with a turn based battle system could be a FF game.
FF is not just "any RPG."
They have always had a special feel to that that other RPGs don't have.
Any you know hardly anything about FF XV's plot and it has nothing to do with the FF games you listed(Plus, it's your opinion that those game were uninteresting. Not the world's)
Too bad you couldn't Type O. It was epic.
Why not import?
No it doesn't. Final Fantasy is defined by more than it's battle system. It's also defined by it's characters, settings, and deep storylines.
It was always more than a game with a turn based battle system.
The battle system is not what kept me hooked on FF6 or 7. I loved those games because they were masterpieces with open worlds and great characters. I loved Cloud's story and wanted to go depper into it every minute I played.
Won't be long until it come out going to be epic.
Some of them can actually be good games.
Rumble Roses = Okay game
Skull Girls = Spectacular game
Senran Kagura = Great game series
Although this game in particular looks a little lazy and looks like it has nothing to go off of but fanservice.
I admit that it was epic at some parts but the game is like a rollar coaster. It gets really epic and the story gets really tense and dramatic. Then it gets boring and you're just running around a linear world with nothing going on.
It is worse in the east.
There is a bigger market for JRPGs in the west than there is for WRPGs in the east.
Lets put the fanboyism aside for a minute. I'm not exactly comparing everything in the two services. I'm only comparing the free game aspects of each.
And in terms of what these two services are doing with game handouts, PS+ is the the better service.
If this conversation was about social options or connectivity I might agree with you. But that is not what this is about.
You can scream on and on about "glorified rentals" bu...
Looks epic, unlike Final Fantasy XIII, which is still collecting dust unfinished.
Of course it's fake. People need to be smarter and look at whos app it is. Unless under Developer it says "Rockstar" don't download it.
Everything put on the play store by Rockstar is listed under Rockstar.
Same here. Gamecube was my first console I actually had to myself. I remember it like it was yesterday. I got the platinum Super Smash bundle.
Jesus can come down and buy a copy for himself and Peter M will still be unimpressed.
Eh, the torture scenes didn't phase me. I was just like "wow".
I guess I'm the only one who didn't get an uneasy falling during it.
It's not that I'm a sick sadist or something like that, but I find it hard to get shock value from a video game.
Just because something is made on PC doesn't mean it will be for PC.
Being made on PC really doesn't confirm anything.
Seems kind of early. Just hope it isn't poorly optimized like IV.
I really didn't like the feel of the combat in FF Tactics. Some battles dragged on for way too long.
Woah man, don't sink down to his level. It's wrong to generalize anybody.
There are Americans who are nothing like this guy.
I can see why you only have one bubble.
MS needs all the support it can get. Why is Microsoft trying so hard to grab Japanese support if it's so irrelevant?
Nerdmaster, I didn't want to use my last bubble on this but her I go.
"By my logic? I didn't even say anything about what I think makes or not a FF game. You're the one who tried to define it ("It's also defined by it's characters, settings, and deep storylines")."
So what you're saying is I was wring in my assessment and FF is only about the battle system? If you were trying to prove me wrong than yes, that was you...
