Imagine if they gave you the option between 720p 60fps or 1080p 30fps via a dashboard setting. I can dream right?
@Root,
You're wrong. That's why.
You might be trolling, but it's believable enough that I won't look it up.
I gave it a week of my time and I regret spending that much money on the game. It's too "arcad-ie". Hackers in every server, corrupt developement team calling people fa%^ots. They took a good idea from another developer and converted their game code from War inc. to perform like a zombie survival game. Again, I regret giving them the benefit of the doubt.
By today's standard HL1 is going to be really boring/bad, but at the time it was revolutionary. HL2 is excellent and I think it's aged well.
Be sure to play those HL2 episodes as well, those are just as good.
I don't think he was ever really all there. I don't have anything against him really, he just has never seemed stable.
I don't know whether to bubble your comment "funny" or "well said". Sad. Moly's a little emo lately.
Here's to another year of getting the most hated company in America Award for 2013.
Yeah this wasn't a glitch. Origin was getting a bad rap and they wanted to do damage control. Didn't work obviously, origin still sucks.
Agreed. And even if it's somewhat truthful, it could have been just a side experiment of a programmer that was never planned. Something to do during lunch to fool around with.
.. but I still don't believe them and it doesn't change the fact that people play DeadSpace expecting a survival horror game, not a co-op dudebro action fist pounding game.
Oh if there is two seasons I wouldn't buy the seocond pass, I would wait for each to be reviewed and compared by a reliable source before deciding to purchase them individually. I had a lot of respect for Gearsoft going into BL2 and I still do, but I expected more from them in the DLC department. Buying the pass was almost a sure thing, but if I'd have known they would outsource the DLC to another studio I wouldn't have bought the pass.
I love bl1 and bl2, and you're right, the dlc was much better in the first game. I also regret buying the season pass because it just hasn't been good yet. I hope bl2 gets two seasons, the second being developed by gearsoft
I had forgotten about that. You're right, when Rubin took over he trash talked SR3. If in the off chance THQ is still around for SR4 I bet he will have a negative influence on it. I'd bet my house.
@BattleAxe In which case he is not a gamer.
Pretty much. A giant middle finger to veteran fans of the series.
It was awful. The framerate and hit detection were poor. The weapons didn't feel satisfying and the way the aiming felt was different than singleplayer. It's like another studio did multiplayer.
I commend them for skipping it this time and devoting all development time into single player. That's why we play Bioshock after all.
Stupid company name.
co fuoder of stpiutidy
The guy kind of loses credibility after saying that huh?
cpu's maybe but memory has gone way down over the years
This shouldn't be something to laugh at. THQ has put out many great games over the last twenty years. They currently have a few great IP's under their belt, we as gamers should be rooting for them, they won't be the last big studio facing financial issues.
