Killzone is one of the best FPS series in the last few generations. The only reason it doesn't do so well is because it has to compete with casual juggernaut Call of Duty. Gears of War 3 will be right up there with Skyrim, UC3, Arkham City, and other games for GotY right? Sales mean nothing when it comes to pure quality. Gears might get put up for Best 360 Game or Best Multiplayer (which UC3 won at E3 btw) but I don't see it winning any major awards honestly.

The quality in both are not shit. I have a 80GB PS3 Phat from early 2009 that still runs today with a 500GB in it. My 360? Already had to replace it twice because of RRoD. I have numerous friends who have had to replace 360s because of the RRoD. I literally know no one who has had a problem with a PS3. YOU face it. The Xbox 360 is console with the worst quality this gen end of story.
Of course it's going to be a force to be reckoned with. If Sony gets the advertising right, we can see big sales for U3 as well as big awards too. It obviously won't do CoD numbers but then again, UC>CoD so that point is moot. Anyone trying to bring CoD, Nintendo, or anything else into this story is trolling.
