That sounds great until you realize PS4 has 4 times the number of software available and 4 times the number of units as Wii U. When you are only releasing software to fanboy numbers its pretty easy to boast until the truth crashes in on you.

Yeah none of those games are anything Im interested in playing. Except Metriod Prime and I have the first two on my Gamecube. I dont play handhelds, I purchased a Vita for my son and rarely does either of us pick it up. @OneshotV2 if you're gaming in 4k you account for about 15% of the PC gaming market. The average steam user is playing games on medium to low settings not on Ultra on some super high end gaming tower with four moniters. The fact is most PC gamers arent playing @60fps or in ultra or high setting so they would actually benefit more by just owning a console.
In all honesty Im not a fan of the direction Nintendo has gone for the last two genz but if games were the only factor then Nintendo would be on top because they do make great 1st party games, that said they need 3rd party as well and that is were their systems besides handhelds fall flat.

Personally dont care if this game bombs, Im excited about it and have been for the last couple years. Will it live up to the hype I dont know but Im not passing up the chance to explore a universe one plante at a time.
Ms showed their hand way to early. No one wants to admit it but the Scorpio is MS's next gen console. My gut tells me Sony will release Neo then wait another year or longer and release something more powerful than Scorpio.

You people act like EA and Actvision are going to magically make games cheaper. Are digital games now any cheaper? No they arent in fact often many games years, after release, are still full price digitally on xbox live.
The market is supporting both right now just fine. We dont need all digital games and I dont want all digital games. I like to collect and own what I pay for I dont want games as a damn service I want a finished product.

Translation; we love another piece of tech that segments an already over segmented market so we can charge even more for our half finished piece meal games.
