The biggest one for me personally is the heists. I am a huge fan of the movie Heat and I am hoping that in some way that gaming can finally capture that film.
The 3 different protagonist is an awesome addition as well!
My question is: Can it sustain itself for the next year with 2 major next-generation consoles releasing?
I believe that it can to a degree because of its first-party titles. If they keep pushing their first-party content, this would be the reason to purchase the Wii U. And it looks to have a lot of good upcoming games.
Then again, so does the PS4 and Xbox 720 - and many of the first-party titles haven't even been unveiled from Sony or Microsoft. And th...
What about in the US of A? Any news on accidental releases in any Wal-Marts here?
And they said digital games would be cheaper. No disk to manufacturer, no box art, and no instructions. It just amazes me.
An analyst also said the game would be out in 2013. I do think it is a good possibility to see some sort PS4 release however - especially considering Rockstars ties to Sony (Agent).
When you're playing Dark Souls (just kidding). Seriously though, Dark Souls' community thrives because of their Wiki. It's actually very interesting.
And they say games aren't artistic. I love gaming because it literally melds every aspect of media together: music, artwork, directing, storytelling, and then adds interactivity.
If one thing, Demon's Souls had a wonderful atmosphere and mostly smooth frame-rate. I really hope they bring back the smooth frame rate - this is very important. Can't wait to see in-game footage!
I think that even if the marketing was done right, you still end up with a game that is incredible immature and crude. Therefore, it would be false advertising...So it will still turn a lot of people off.
I think they needed to take a different approach to Bulletstorm entirely.
Snow maps are a must for Call of Duty. Glad to see them back. This map pack also had an amazing desert environment Mirage in China - so a ton of variety this time around. One of the best map packs in a long time.
My guess? This is an Assassin's Creed game and will be called Assassin's Creed: Osiris. Seems like it'll be about the First Civilization or at least connected to them, as Osiris is actually explained on the AC Wiki: "Osiris was a member of the First Civilization, revered as an Egyptian god of the afterlife, the underworld and death. He was also the partner of Isis."

Yeah, definitely. For some reason (and this is just my opinion), I really enjoy Treyarch's recent map designs a lot more than Infinity Ward. Black Ops 1 also had some incredibly maps as well - some of my favorites. As did WaW.
Anyone remember Def Jam: Fight For New York? It is still to this day one of my favorite games. And I listen to only some rap. It is just such a shame they did what they did with Def Jam: ICON.
I think there definitely needs to be a Darksiders 3. Nintendo did save the Bayonetta franchise (at least we'll see how Bayonetta 2 sells...).
I think Vigil just needs a little direction with Darksiders 2 and tone back some of the puzzles. They have some excellent combat mechanics that need more attention - at least in my opinion.
I remember playing Uncharted: Drake's Deception for the first time. I just loved it. Played it over and over again. Then Uncharted 2 came out and blew everyone out of the water.
I absolutely cannot wait to see what Naughty Dog has done with The Last of Us.
I'm always excited to see snow back in Call of Duty. Loved their snow maps in Black Ops. And I am also a big fan of China's architecture.
I see a lot of excellent games coming here in Spring. The Last of Us is a brand new IP. And we do see a lot of sequels, but a lot of them have been MIA for over 2 years and I personally can't wait to dive back in.
Next-gen only seems to be revitalizing new IP's. We have Watch Dogs coming from Ubisoft, Star Wars 1313, Destiny from Bungie, and many many more.
I personally think it's going to be great.
I actually had to go out and purchase a used Xbox to play some very memorable games. There will be games that you will still be attached to, even though next-gen graphics will shine. A lot of games, even on the Xbox and PS2, are works of art.
It's all about living nostalgia - especially with friends or family.
I'm really, really wondering if the rumors are true that Sony has grabbed exclusive rights to Fallout 4. I think next-gen is really going to be about new IP's showcasing the tech; more importantly, first-party titles.
I think - if anything - it's the unique IP's that identify a console more than anything else.
Can't wait to see what Santa Monica is up to with their new, unknown IP as well!
The Witcher 3 is going to be amazing. I am really hoping they nail the entire open-world feel while maintaining the affect a player has on the world.
Wow, this is something you just can't pass up. One of the best games of 2012 in my opinion!
