They do not like any business you only trust as far as you can throw. They are in it to make money and only see the customer as a $ sign.
Still wish Nintendo purchased Rare they did make some memorable games on various Nintendo consoles. All though I wonder how Rare would be under Nintendo ownership. Heck I would be curious what Rare would be like under Sony's ownership. Microsoft has ruined Rare.
You need games to entice the customer into buying your product. If there are no games to entice the customer then they will go else where like Sony or Nintendo. Sony had a solid line up on the PS4 and PS5 that blew Microsoft out of the water. Nintendo even though their games don't drop in price also blew Microsoft out of the water. Microsoft thought making two major purchases would fix that problem. Their other problem is they locked two studios to work on Gears of War and Halo. And hones...
Whether true or not they would be nuts to scrap it. I know FF9 has a strong fan base and it would piss a lot of that fan base off who have been waiting for this specific remake. Hopefully it's not true I would grab the FF9 remake day one.
Better off porting games to the Switch 2 it will have a higher user base then XBox.
EA calling out Microsoft talk about the pot calling the kettle black.
It won't be a win that Xbox needs. Honestly I would have ported Helldivers 2 to the Switch along with the Xbox port. You'll get more sales on the Switch 2 then you will with the Xbox port. The way Microsoft is right now as a flaming mess I would avoid buying an Xbox if you can find one on the store shelves.
They will probably make a new Banjo Kazooie game to just turn around and can it after it was half way built. That seems to be the Microsoft way now.
I wouldn't trust Microsoft to change the oil in my truck. Say one thing do another or say no and pass the blame off on some lacky.
I always wished Nintendo would have ponied up the cash and bought Rare. They had a great relationship back in the day. Now Rare a good studio is caught in Microsoft's mess. Always wondered how Rare would have turned out if Nintendo just made the purchase. Hell I'd be curious to see what Rare could have been if Sony made the purchase as well.
I think the last thing Microsoft wants to do is piss off Kojima. All that work he put into a game for your platform just to have it scrapped. Microsoft would be nuts to scrap a game with the name Kojima behind it.
I'm just picky on what I buy now. Games reaching $90 Canadian new last thing I want is to get my hands on an expensive turd I'll just be trading in. I watch Twitch and study a game if it's something I am interested in I'll either day one it or I will wait when it drops in price. Only game I am buying day one right now is Gears of War on PS5 when it comes out. Assassins Creed Shadows I am just going to wait when it drops in price like all Ubisoft games.
The way of the future a machine that acts like a shrink spitting out pills like in Elysium.
Bet Spencer gets big pay raise or bonus.
Looks like a Fisher Price toy
The writing was on the walls the 360 was Microsofts hay day. After the 360 things started to go down hill after the XB1 things really went down hill for Microsoft. Two major purchases, jacking up the price of an Xbox, Xbox not appearing on store shelves for months in some areas, being dead last in sales, Microsoft shutting down studios. Hopefully that Asus Xbox does well I am thinking about one. But if it fails I see Microsoft going the route Sega chose just skip the hardware and focus more ...
Moment all games go digital only is the day I just stick with the old reliable consoles that don't require going online. I refuse go digital and I refuse to be a slave to multiple streaming services.
Nah I'll grab the Gears of War PS5 controller it looks a whole lot better then this fugly thing.
Xbox hasn't been a competitor since the XB360. Last generation and this generation Sony has been running circles around Xbox. As for Sony vs Nintendo Sony runs circles yes but I don't really see Nintendo as competition. Nintendo does their own thing and it works.
Probably due to cost and the fact a company can make more money selling a new controller once the old controller gets the drift.
