I ain't sharing shit with a company. Too much goes wrong companies get hacked, they sell the data, they send useless emails you have to unsubscribe from, there is too much that goes wrong.I don't even share my data with Nintendo or Sony. I always use false names and always make sure to make the digital purchase with a PSN card.
I'd rather keep a roof over my head, food in the fridge, and bills paid. I don't like subscription based services, and when I game I get maybe an hour to work on a game then its back to the real world. When I buy my games it has to be one I am really interested in or I wait until it drops in price. I tried Gamepass it has it's purpose it just doesn't work for me. I have new games still wrapped that are three or four years old I still haven't gotten to.
I don't use Gamepass I don't remember getting a pay cheque from Sony.
I'll grab Mafia later when the price drops working on some back log waiting for Gears of War.

I'm not surprised Microsoft scrubbing another title. But Microsoft would be nuts to cancel a title made by Kojima especially after titles he puts out do well and sell well. All that work just to have Microsoft cancel your work Kojima would never work with Microsoft again if that happened.
You want to flood the market as much as you can with the game being popular I just wonder if Helldivers 2 will get a Switch 2 port.

It's Sony's digital store they set the rules they can say yes or no to what games appears. No different then Nintendo, Microsoft, Valve, Epic, Apple, or Google. They have the veto power to say yes or no to a game appearing on their digital store fronts. Just like they have the power to pull the game from a digital store like when Sony pulled Cyberpunk for a while until it was fixed. And yes Sony can block this game if they want to from appearing on the Playstation.

Well the game is being created by a company in China. China is known to copy ideas and sell knock off versions. You can order an Iphone that claims to be genuine all it is is an Iphone knock off with an Apple body and skin. You can even order an S25 Ultra knock off from China. I had to look up Light of Motiram and yes it screams Horizon knock off with some added aspects. I hope Sony wins this I just wonder how it will affect Sony and Tencent's relationship since they hold stakes in Kadoka...

I just find Ubisoft boring myself and their games usually come out janky. And thinking microtransactions is fun for the customer is janked logic behind Ubisoft. If I want a Ubisoft game I just wait for it to go on sale dirt cheap now. But like any business they make it sound like your fault and put the blame on you. They just need to rethink games and make them better, fun, and cut out the microtransactions.
Microtransactions don't make the game fun they only make the game fun for Ubisoft.
I'm not a Star Wars fan by any means but even I can see the moment Disney bought the Star Wars franchise. The franchise began to tank and go off the cliff just like Indiana Jones. As for the Ubisoft game I only played the demo and I was bored. To me Ubisoft lost their knack with games rehash the AC games the Avatar game was boring FC6 I was bored. I am just not a fan of Ubisoft as much anymore AC Shadows I played a bit but again I was bored.
Food in the fridge or a new game, roof over your head or a new game, pay the bills or a new game. To me a matter of survival comes first then buying a game day one. If I have some spare cash kicking around I will wait for the game to go on sale or wait until I buy it used. Whether a thrift store, pawnshop, marketplace. Sometimes I'll buy the game last gen if I want to play it. Prices rising is due to two things companies being greedy and inflation and both go hand in hand.
I use to rent the odd movie on Xbox or Playstation now I just buy the blu ray if I want the movie bad enough. I hate that some of these movies to watch you need 5 different subscriptions services just to watch one damn movie. But even some stores are cutting back on DVD's and blu-rays. But now there isn't much bang for you buck with Microsoft now.
The writing was on the walls when it came to Microsoft spending and now the studios are paying that price.
How about focus on making games if not Microsoft will shut the studio down. Just look at the other studios Microsoft shut down.
