I respect your opinion but can I ask why you think it wont be as successful?
I remember before the Wii was launched everyone was laughing and saying that it will fail and its just a fad...if your basing your opionion on the fact that you do not see much buzz on gaming websites then you are wrogn becuase casulas do not have the time to comment or browse website like we do.

As a father 3 kids I think Wonder Book is a great idea and might pick it up depending on the price.
People downplaying WB or Kinect have been on N4G way too long and need to realise that people on gaming website are a small majority compared to the casuals.

Drummerdude - I understand your concern but as a hardcore gamer and father of 3 kids that are less than 13 years old I am glad MS is going this direction.
I like that my 360 has games that are easy with kinect for my kids one which is 5 to play and games that I enjoy. I remember when the 360 first launched they were tons of hardcore games and not much games for kids so I ended up buying a Wii for my kids becuase Ninty was the only ones offering kid and family friendly games...
@aiBeeze - Do you know how much AAA games cost to make? Well over 30 million dollars...sure some games sell well but people fail to realise that the game developers does not make $60 from each game sold.
Next gen will be 3 times more expensive to develope AAAA games and yes I said 4 A's becuase thats what developes are starting to call next gen games, also since its all going to be new hardware developement time will increase and game companies have to pay thier employe...

Competion is good for us the customer...I am not saying that Nintendos and MS price drop have anything to do woth Sony dropping the prices but I am sure they are not just going to stand their and watch the other consoles eat up the xmas season.

MS can detect if you played HALO 4 before a certain date so it does not matter if you play it offline becuase they will still find out and ban you.
They can also detect if your console has been modded in anyway...not sure how they know but the know.

Thats the problem with RE 5 and 6, the RE games have roots and they have to meet certain expectations, look at the backlash that Ninja Gaiden 3 got for changing certain things up and the developers apologies for not listening to the fans and keeping what makes Ninja Gaiden loved by fans.
Capcom should have just created a new IP for RE 5 and 6 and called it Zombie shoot em Up or Zombie Warfare instead of using to RE name to sell more copies of the game. Sure it not a bad game...
You do realize that almost every Zelda game is a reboot right? The games always starts the story over as young Link goes to the princess aid.
No one really plays Zelda for the story but for the gameplay, universe and interesting characters and worlds - this is what makes Zelda so good and adding a continues story will just make the franchise feel milked and kill it.

So the reviewer is basically telling us the hardcore RE fans to forget about RE 1,2,3 and forget about the survival horror elements that those games offered and focus on RE 5 and 6 action packed shooting and over the the top stunts and stupidity the the new games offer -_-
Why not just tell us what you really wanted to say which is that the true RE fans need to let go the past and bug off and let the new generation of shooter gamers enjoy the new RE games.

Question: When you are online do you see other people that are online driving around? if yes is there a limit to how many people can be on the road at the same time and can you randomly challenge them to a race at any time.
Also do they have radio station that you can choose from? if no, how is the sound tracks in this game?

I really hope this trend of announsing games too early stops next gen...some of this games are announced when they are in the concept stage SMH.
They should make it law that games can only be annouce when they are atleast 60% complete or announce it 2 years maximum before release.
