Not really. In Journey you actually control the character, and From dust plays like a strategy game where you manage and position things to make it through the game while Journey is simply pressing onward with your character through the desert with the goal of making it to the mountain.
Being the trailer whore I am(I organize all my trailers by star ratings O.o) I'm really looking forward to this.
THey probably handed you one that had been printed ages ago cause gamestop printers hardly work. I worked tonight and I checked again, and sadly, May 30th is the date it says.
Gamestop also lists it as May 19th or 20th. And that changed from it's launch day date a couple weeks ago.
I work there.
Awesome, I'm glad they finally got a good theme song as well.
Can't wait for the prerelease! I love the atmosphere of this block!
wtfit?
It's not that I know less about it than XIII-2, it's just that even the very first two minute cg trailer for Versus was better than any scene I've seen in all of XIII. The world, the character, and the music are all much better in my opinion. I don't need to play the game to get a sense of the atmosphere and character interplay. And yeah the xiii-2 trailers failed to excite me as it was the same constant melodramatic dialogue one-liners and the eclectic mix of j-pop and j-r...
just get versus XIII out here, the final fantasy that has, gameplay, story, and style all in one.
pshhh, I can barely contain mine in a list of 10.
1. Gravity Rush (in my opinion the most unique and brilliant game on the Vita)
2. Uncharted: Golden Abyss (Top of the line quality like always)
3. Touch My Katamari (The perfect addictive on-the-go game)
4. Super Stardust Delta (Another challenging, fast=paced on-the-go game)
5. Modnation Racers (Gotta have my Mario Kart)
6. Wipeout (Gotta ha...
while I would like to see multiplayer and have faith that sony santa monica could implement it well. i'd rather they take the focus and development time of making a multiplayer mode and add 4-5 hours of quality single player time instead.
Could it be sony smash bros, and long time gamers will freak out because of the nostalgia of all the included characters! It's a stretch, but dammit I want it!
Hell yessssssssssssssssssssss. I would REALLY love an anime for this!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
well, if it were a generic hack n slash, it would suck. But come on, that looks like a SUPERB hack n slash.
no it's not opinion, ps3 exclusives struggle. breaking a million is a triumph on the ps3 and simply par on the 360. Advertising is definitely the biggest part of it. Every 360 exclusive that comes out is pretty much announced to the world via every media outlet possible. Another thing though is that ps3 exclusives don't fit the best selling genre. military shooters and zombie survival. With gears, halo, and left 4 dead keeping online gamers playing, that also means they flock to ...
what a waste of development time
I honestly see a beach setting.
oh my gosh, a series does not have to stick to one genre. Let them make a fast-paced action game in the metal gear universe, it's not going to change the games that already exist. A series is allowed to split off into different genres. Hell, Mario has even split into every genre that exists. We all expected MGS4 to be the last, so just be happy that this at least was able to be developed. Anyways, the action-game fan in me wants something with a story, and metal gear can deliver that....
Heavenly Sword 2
It HAS to happen! There's such a lack of fantasy these days. E3 was all sci-fi and realism, and sure last of us looks great, but the industry is still lacking in fantasy for the future.
is that.... (examines closer) O.O A MIDGET STRAPPED SHIELD!!!!! :D
