Zombie games are a dime a dozen these days. The only zombie game that still gets my post-mortem juices flowing is Left 4 Dead, and only because of the campaign mods.
I'm confident this game is going to be great. A lot of the same people that worked on Riddick and The Darkness are working on this. Can't wait.

@ElementX You ever heard the expression "less is more"?. The pre-rendered backgrounds gave Resident Evil so much atmosphere and personality. Controls in RE were like chocolate to peanut butter. The fixed camera angles and moody lighting added tension because you couldn't tell what was ahead of you. The environments oozed with many subtle details. I have yet to play a Resident Evil game in 3d that captures that same experience. RE4 and Revelations are great games, but neither one...
I'll definitely be keeping a close eye on this one. Looks promising.
