I think the reason for that is because the DOA games have always been about the fan service. My complaint about the game is that it lacks the charm of it's original creator. Tomonobu Itagaki's vision of DOA was very Japanese, not just in its visuals but in its themes. DOA 5 feels westernized and suffers some identity crisis. The over-the-top sexuality was toned down a bit. They ditched the anime art style for a more realistic look so-to-speak. They even added sweat and dirt to the cha...
