Nice to see they have added controller support for the PC version :)
The problem with Evil Within is the game engine which is ID Tech 5 , which like Wolfentsien the new order, has mega textures thus the need for large ammounts of VRAM. Hopefully ID Tech 6 is more optimised, because Tech 5 just ate up yuor VRAM for unnessary reasons.
Could they do anything else wrong?
Completely agree, college can be a very stressful time for students and all they needs is some relaxation sometimes and most student i know would just chill out and game for a bit in the evening, eases the stress.
Completely agree with you, I also want to add that the audio and soundtrack is f-ing awesome! Very suiting for the atmosphere.
Just like the Tomb Raider Exclusivity deal, this is gunna do more damage to M$ than good.
Should really change the title to Last gen only, to halt confusion.
really, before the beta i had a huge bubble of hype, but playing the beta burst that bubble right away.
Amaing how this has nearly the same amout of content and structure to Destiny .. but its free.
I feel slightly betrayed about Destiny, when i saw the first reveal I really exected this game to be much more and huge open world with a deep story, but now it just feels like a really slim down mmo style competetive FPS. Not what i wanted. I cant see how this can be enjoyable plaing solo, i wanted the game to be open and acceable for solo RPG players. Also it doesnt feel very Next Gen, which is its biggest down fall.
a lot of people are reporting crashes nearly every 5-10mins, i just gave up after 5 continuous crashes redoing 10mins of progress over and over again. waiting for patch now.
Although i'm excited for Xbox One owners to get this in 1080p, i would of loved to seen a sequel.
I agree with you on one point, that stronger hardware doesn't fix all problems, but in the case of this game it does seem very GPU bound and having a better GPU will help it and the 780 is very powerful still, but he should of said Ti at the end thats the gold spot.
yeah I'm much more excited for Middle Earth, looks like my type of game.
I lost all hype for Destiny after playing the Alpha :/ just didn't have the impact i thought it was gunna have.
Im sure my AMD FX 8350 and GTX 780ti will handle it. My Pc is built for "hefty" requirements. Also Shadow of Mordor has very simular requirements.
Just FYI, in an interview when Norman was asked how did he prepare for that scene this was his response "I listened to some songs that remind me of my dad to start off. My dad passed away a long time ago and it was a big emotional scene when that happened. I listened to a song that reminded me of my dad and sort of thought of that." http://insidetv.ew.com/2013...
This game has me giddy! Its like a game i've always wanted but never thought of, if that makes sense, such a surprise to the system. I hope its like a reincarnation simulator in gameplay!
for the love of good just dont turn Supersampling on. I nearly cried when my GTX 780ti went into high 30fps.
Mine seems to be coping quite well, the only option that destroys my machine, which is the same with most games is the Super-sampling option. Other than that everything is maxed and I'm getting 60fps 1080p. 4790K with GTX 780ti
